Built to last... and to grow with... a great toy!

This is a beautifully crafted gift for any child and something to grow with. At first just the shapes are enough fascination, then learning about all the animals and then learning how to spell them. It looks great and is made to last, unlike many toys these days!
It comes with an excellent wall chart explaining more about all the animals and their origins. I was impressed that the chart came in four different languages also!
Thoroughly recommended!

My 5 year old granddaughter loves this puzzle! She can take it anywhere and not lose the pieces. She loves the fact that there is an animal for every letter of the alphabet. She makes a game out of the way she puts the animals back in place.

My 3 year old granddaughter enjoyed working with the magnetic animal puzzle even though the recommended age is 4. The puzzle design is interesting and the underlying outlines with letters are very helpful in assembling the pieces.

I purchased this for my grandson Thomas to help entertain him on our long flight to France from Albuquerque. I think this will give him hours of fun and since it is magnetic, the pieces won't roll down the aisle and have to be retrieved from under the seat of another passenger. The colors and construction of this puzzle are very nice. I think Thomas will really enjoy it.

My 4 year old son loves both puzzles and animals. He loves that it is magnetic and that he can play with it on the couch or in the car. The shapes of the animal pieces are unusual and the corresponding letter on the base really helps him find the right spot if he is stumped. He also likes the posters that tells about the animals and thinks it's fun to hear what the animals are called in Spanish, French, and German. The reverse side of the base is a scene for playing with the animals. He enjoys this puzzle so much it has become our new favorite birthday gift!

Great toy for my son who loves animals! He loves to line up all the pieces in alphabetical order to make an animal train, then he can do the puzzle.

I like this product. I'm a Montessori teacher and the children really gravitated to using this work in conjunction with our puzzle maps of different continents to locate each animal. It is very fun to observe! Thanks.

My 3 Year Old Loved It

This puzzle has an attractive magnetic board to which the puzzle pieces stick magnetically. Under each piece is the beginning letter of the animal that resides there. The shape of the puzzle piece is also drawn, which is good because each piece is a different animal and one can't use other clues (other than the shape of the pieces) to figure out how the pieces fit together. My 3 year old daughter loved putting this together, and when she couldn't figure out where a piece went by its shape, she figured out the beginning letter of the animal and then found the letter. Some of the animals are not traditional well-known animals to children like the yak, hummingbird, newt and quail, but there is a wonderful poster included that names all of the animals. Children can find the picture of the animal on the poster, and look at the letter next to the animal to figure out where the piece goes.

I've always loved puzzles but this is my favorite. I love that it is magnetic and we can use it in the car on our way up north. Both of my children have a great time making it. I will keep it forever.

I bought the puzzle for my 3 year old nephew. It combines all of the things he loves right now: animals, the alphabet, and puzzles. And since it's magnetic, it's perfect for travel. He really enjoys matching up each animal to the corresponding letter. And it provides the challenge of figuring out how all the animal pieces intertwine together to form a circle. It was a birthday hit!

My daughter loves this puzzle. Well, at this age (20 mos.), she loves playing with all the animal magnets - not necessarily putting them together in the circle format on the included magnetic board. Almost daily, she moves them back and forth from the dishwasher to a safety gate near our basement stairs that my husband built and that includes a magnetic whiteboard. But I love the circle format and know it will be a good "circle of life/connectedness/respect the whole world of animals" teaching tool at some point. I love the factiods on each animal on the included poster as well. Something in the online description made me think these were printed on the back of each magnet, which I think would be nice, but I'm happy enough with the poster. I think I will laminate it for greater durability, however. I bought this to use as a distraction during a long holiday car trip. It was OK for that, and I'm sure it will be even better for that as my munchkin gets older, but I am delighted with the way she plays with it now. She knows the names of all the animals.

My son liked the product. However, it was not challenging enough for him. The quality of the product was great. I will donate the puzzle.
