I am so disappointed with this product. I had no idea the magnets were made of paper. I have not even given it as a gift-in fact I wish it could be returned. I opened it to check it out before giving it as a gift and it is badly made. For me paper does not cut it for this kind of product. For the mosaics that you glue or stick on...sure...

Mosaica

I bought this for my grandson and he loves the colors and the ability to move the pieces around. I love it myself. It is very interesting to be able to make this into different arrangements. It helps me do real mosaic art projects by providing ideas.

Fun!

Mosaica is creative fun. I bought this for our coffee table where I like to put all sorts of self-contained, no clean-up, creative toys like the Motif Cubes, the Ball of Whacks, Buckyballs, any Thinkfun game, etc. The magnetic backing on the squishy foam Mosaica "tiles" is nice and strong and the colors are vibrant. It's full of creative, quiet fun for a very nice price.

Mosaica: inspiration for quilting

I bought Mosaica for its beauty, and to help me learn hands on how geometric quilts can be laid out. The brightly colored tiles, made of tough colored cardboard and magnets, turned out to be even more lovely than I had expected and both sides of its black box make good frames for the designs. A colleague noticed my set and knew that his daughters would love it, so I bought one for him and then decided to purchase several more to give as gifts later. Mosaica is a puzzle, a way to learn about color and shape, a work of art, a chance for meditation, and a planning tool all rolled into one.
