If your child enjoys dot-to-dot, or simple sewing, as my 6 year old does, she will really enjoy this set. It is very appealling visually and takes traditional dot-to-dot up a notch. My child loved it from the moment she saw it. I think it would appeal to any girl that likes crafts. However, because my child does not have any handheld video games, I am not sure how it would appeal to children that do play these games. Nevertheless, it is tactile, it fosters hand-to-eye coordination, and the child ends up with a tangible product when complete.

Sturdy construction; vivid colors/pictures; good size for toddlers. Would be nice if color of laces were a better match with colors in the cards (e.g. pinks and purples rather than reds and blues).

I believe that my grandaughter will use this toy more later on. She is three years old but is easily distracted.

My daughter squealed when she opened the present. What could be better than princesses and unicorns? The cards are sturdy and durable. We are certain to get plenty of use out of them.

The pictures are cute and my daughter really enjoys them as she is really into fairies, magic, and imagination. The lacing is simple and easy to use...a great start for learning how to sew and use fine motor movements.

The card board is sturdy for little hands and the colors are very attractive to a 3year old. My granddaughter has improved with eye and hand cordination.

I was specifically looking for lacing cards and all that I found had very poor art work. The Laurie line shows great effort in making a toy that is quality and has the children in mind 100% of the time during the design process. This is a line of toys I will be keeping up with to see what other products they offer.
