This toy is just awesome. Great for car rides (I am anti-"turn on the car DVD and let your kids mindlessly watch some garbage that fascist Hollywood puts out to brainwash them because you are a lazy parent and cannot be more interactive and creative with your children"), and great for the house as well. Encourages imagination and is fun and very different and exciting to play with, yet so simple!

Classic toy from my childhood. I don't know how you can go wrong. I bought 2 for my boys for a long car ride. It fascinates them (5 and 3 yr old).

I bought this for my grandchild. I should have bought a dozen so the whole family could have one. I remember playing with one and my kids do too.

I bought this item for my students. Our language arts unit has a story about magnets and I thought that this would be an appropriate tie-in. The students would ask me everyday if the toy had come in the mail yet, and now they enjoy playing with it whenever we have a little bit of free time.

I actually ordered this toy so I would have the magnetic wand. One was lost on another toy. The wand works great but most children can't be still and hold the board flat so they can get the black powder on the head of Wooly Willy.

My son just turned 4 and I decided to purchase these as party favors. I would rather spend on one quality item than the same price on a bunch of junky little plastic toys and candy. Plus this was a toy I had as a kid so I was a bit nostalgic! I think the boys and girls really liked them. I saw many of them wanting to play with them right away upon being handed out. My son enjoys it too. I can't say it is a toy that he will play with everyday but it would be good for keeping in the car or for quiet time. The only negative aspect of the toy is that the magnet is fairly weak (I remember it being stronger or bigger as a child) so some of the dustings usually form a trail from being picked up to where the child tries to place it. They have to keep going back to drag it all the way. But maybe that can be part of the fun.

I like that it is a classic toy. My kids seem to really enjoy playing with a toy I or my husband had as kids. These are of good quality, just like you remember. Simple play with lots of imagination, nothing to be lost and never found again rendering the toy useless.

Just like I remembered as a kid. I bought as a gag gift for a coworker who resembles wooly willy. It was hard to find this at good price and reasonable shipping costs.

This toy is a "blast from the past"! I remember having hours of fun playing with Wooly Willy as a child. I would take it everywhere with me, and if I remember correctly, my sister and I had a couple of scuffles over whose turn it was to play. I bought this retro item for my 8 year old son, and between flashbacks, I watch him have the same kind of fun I had when I was his age. He has a blast making all kinds of silly faces and comparing the finished faces with people we know. He's also fascinated by the magnetic trait of the toy.

My Grandmother had this toy at her house when I was a child back in the 60's. It is exactly the same toy now as it was then and my Grandkids love to play with it. I bought it for nostalgia as well as to support a local business. They are made right here in Pa!

My grand daughter loved Wolly Willy. I played with the same toy 50 years ago and knew she would enjoy being creative with the magnet and filings. She got it for her 5th birthday on a camping trip. I told her to keep it in the motor home so she could have something to play with everytime she goes camping. She and her father created many funny faces together. It is also a good way to practice dexterity.

I bought this as a gift for my 2-yr-old daughter's birthday. I saw it at the last minute and added it to another purchase. When I told my daughter about it, she remembered that game fondly and wished they could all have one because one isn't enough. So I ordered four more and sent to them: 45-yr son-in-law, 39-yr daughter, 37-yr daughter, 4-yr granddaughter and 2-yr old birthday girl. Now they can all play at once. Only thing I was surprised about was the size. I assumed it was the large version I grew up with. But the inexpensive price made sense then.

Entertaining for many age groups young to old. I remember having a similar toy when I was a child. You easily lose track of time. I find it a lot of fun watching while others are adding features to Willy's face. If you like the sound of laughter you will love this very simple idea of a toy.
