The item was purchased as a gift for my son. He works with Early intervention, and a similar product is used at his sessions that he absoultely loves. She has one square peg board with the same colored pegs. so the additional pegs and ability to stack just adds to the fun of the game for him. He learns dexterity with placing the pegs. Colors and arranging with placing similar pegs in a line and fine motor skill when we turn the peg board over and he pushes the pegs out...(I think this is his favorite part)

Good for all ages, not harmful to babies,good toy to pull out now and then...that's why I got more...to add to small set I bought 10yr ago or so for other grandchildren.

My 2 yo daughter loves the tall stacker pegs building set. She plays with it everyday. It is often the very first toy she goes for. They are pretty versatile, too, with many more uses than what they are intended for.
