Things I like: The rubber on the silverware for gripping. My toddler's hands can easily grab them, she loves the texture and the colorfulness. The round plastic case they were packaged in is sturdy enough for take along use in a diaper bag -- so we often taken them to restaurants. Things I don't like: The actual metal on the silverware (fork/spoon/knife) is rather cheap looking/feeling -- not as sturdy a feel as the rest of the product. I guess it is not stainless steel. The fork tines are more blunted than I'd hoped. I know that safety is all the rage for children's stuff, but forks work better when they have pointed edges. One reason why I bought this product was to ease my child's way into adult silverware and to help her eat more neatly -- much easier to eat macaroni and cheese with a fork than with a spoon or plastic fork, for example. This set was close to what I wanted, but not quite there. Some things that would make the product cooler: Better colors. Pink and blue are so tired, and I'm sick of the pink that seems necessary for all girl products. I'm sure parents of boys are sick of having to buy things that are blue all the time. A flat casing for the packaging. I'm pleased with the packaging because it's study (has a great lid) and can be re-used. The roundness though wastes space in my already cramped diaper bag. A flat package would be even better than the round one.
