The pieces did not go together very easily, it could not be easily put together by a 2 year old.

Review of Mix & Match 12 Piece Puzzle

I bought this for my Grandson (age 3). He had mastered the puzzles that we had where each piece is a separate item. This seems to be the next step. He loves to bugs and was challenged and encouraged to really study the shapes of each piece. It was a great progression from previously purchased puzzles.
