Cute Walker

We wanted a walker that was made of wood and not made in China. We considered the much pricier Haba walker and are happy with this choice. Our 11-month old took to the walker right away. The blocks are a nice bonus, but they are also a distraction from walking. Our baby often walks a little, then wants to lean over into the blocks. I think we'll try keeping the blocks separately for a little while. One nice feature is the ability to increase or decrease the resistance like you would on an exercise bike. There is a little screw you turn which tightens or loosens a brake. This is helpful in making the walker slow for early walkers and faster for more advanced walkers. All in all we're very pleased with the purchase.

We bought this push toy for our granddaughter, whom we babysit for during the weekdays. She is 10 months old and learning to walk. She is able to walk down the hallway using the push toy and is so proud of herself! Then we turn it around and let her walk back. She still needs to hold on to something (or someone) as she is building confidence and the push toy provides the confidence she needs! We are so tickled with it and so is she! She also likes to play with the wooden blocks! (And she likes to stand on them, too!) Thank you!

8 month old grand-daughter loves it. Stood, pushed it and took a few steps with it. Likes to chew on blocks, so we are glad that you made it safe for her to do so with the non-toxic paint.

This is a well built product. I was concerned about the paint on the blocks but after I got the product there was no need to be concerned. There is a brake on the cart that will keep it for rolling out from under the baby when he is trying to walk.

My son loves knocking the blocks over and eating them. He isn't walking yet, but this toy will sure grow with him. It will also easy to put together.

He's still a bit young for the walker aspect, but it is so well made and appealing, and the blocks were a hit. What a comfort to know that the blocks are safe to chew on. I also like the lock on the walker, it's extra safe. Assembly was a snap

I like the product because it serves two purposes: helping my baby learn to walk and providing her with entertainment with the blocks. It's not always the sturdiest walker, especially when the blocks are not stored away on top - sometimes my daughter tries to grab the handle in this case, and it tips over. But, overall I'm happy with it because my daughter enjoys it.

My son loves this walker. He is actually already walking and running, but he loves the blocks and I knew he would haul his toys around on this cart, which he does. Super easy to put together. I love that the manufacturer makes safe, environmentally friendly, and fair trade toys.

This is a great product that took all of 60 seconds to assemble. I got this for my 8 month old for Christmas. She plays with the blocks now and the cart should last her for a long time! Another good thing about Plan Toys is that I don't have to worry about them being recalled!

I was looking around for a walker that wasn't made in China. I was super excited to come across the Baby Walker with Wood Blocks which is made in Thailand. The design looks well made. The blocks are colorful and easy to play with. I have other Plan Toys that my baby really likes to play with, so I thought this was a score! The main purpose was for my son to have something to guide him while he's learning to walk. The baby walker definitely doesn't cut it. Although there are different heights and speeds by adjusting a knob, my son has fallen forward a number of times. The walker easily tips backwards when there's too much weight put on the handle. i.e. when you push the walker in a forward motion, it's fine. If you push directly down it easily hits the ground causing the baby to fall. Maybe if they put an internal weight at the end of the base to keep the handle from tipping backwards - then I would definitely give this walker 5 stars. Since it's not functional and my baby is too scared of falling, he'll have to wait 'til he can completely walk on his own in order to play with this one.

The toy mostly met my expectations--well-made, colorful, age-appropriate (my daughter is 16 months old). The only problem is that it is hard to turn. I don't know if it is a problem with the toy, or if my daughter just hasn't figured it out yet, but she can only go in a straight line until she gets stuck, and then I have to turn it for her. I like that it comes with blocks, giving it a dual function.

My 11 month old grand daughter really enjoyed the blocks. They are colorful and easy to hold. The walker is great too. Very sturdy. I was wondering if the walker can be designed so the wheels turn. Liked the product also because it is environmentally safe.

My son (9 months) loves the blocks in this toy. He has not started walking yet, so he just uses the cart for balance when he stands. The toy is adorable. Nicely made. The non-toxic dyes are a major plus for a little one who puts everything in his mouth!

Interesting Alternative to Plastic Walkers

A nice walker for my 11 month old son. The blocks are a good treat, and the bar height is just right (he is 30 inches tall). My only critcism is that it is a little flimsy and slow - but that is something I find is generally true with most walkers whose center of gravity is this high.

This is a great product even for a baby who can only sit up. My son has a great time taking the wooden blocks in and out of the walker.

The baby walker was simple to assemble and appears to be very sturdy. It is a great way to store blocks without clutter and provides several uses for the toy. The only change I would make in the walker would be to have it weighted a bit in the front, as my son occasionally will put a little too much weight on the handle and the walker will tilt back.

This cart was perfect for my 7 1/2 month old who is insistent on walking. She was pushing chairs around the kitchen and this cart would be safer and more appropriate. It took her 24 hours to figure out what the cart was for, and another 24 to be able to use it without assistance. She has spent lots of time every day pushing it around and playing with the blocks. No other toy gets that consistent attention. The brake is very helpful and she needs that resistance at this stage. The rubber strips on the wheels give a good grip. Our blocks were smooth (unlike another reviewer's experience), and they're the right size for her hands. We also like the adjustable handle. I highly recommend this cart.

Not Half Bad

This was exceedingly easy to put together, even with an 8-month-old attempting to "help". My daughter loves it and was walking herself around a bit within minutes of me getting it together. The ease of pushing is adjustable via a friction block controlled by a knob, so it can be set not to roll out from under her now and looser for pushing around as she gets older and steadier on her feet. She adores the blocks as well, and will play with them for long stretches. Some of the unpainted cylinder blocks do have rough edges, so I've spent some time sanding some of them down.

My husband and I have to assist when using it as a walker. It is too light and will tip over if used unassisted/unweighted. Our child loves it. As for the blocks, our son loves to demolish anything that is created. He has a blast and hopefully (in days to come) will like to build too.
