Shape & Sort It Out - Plan Toys

Our one year old granddaughter was fascinated the moment she received this toy. She needed only initial guidance to "get the idea" and she was off. We thought she would simply put the pieces into the box without using the top - in a fill and spill manner, but since we showed her how the top was meant to be used, that was the way she chose to go. She gets the round piece - the others, she is working on. Since there are only the three shapes it does not seem to frustrate her and she just lifts the top and puts the others in. Since it incorporates colors, shapes, sorting, the sound of the piece hitting the box and the concept of into and out of, it has a lot of growing room built into it. We were very happy with the quality of design, materials and workmanship. The pieces fit through the slots easily - they are roomy, so there is not any built in frustration at all. It is an excellent toy.
