The kids love playing with this and it is great for helping teach them the Christmas story. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to include the wise men also. I had to buy them separately to complete the setup.

I got this set for my youngest daughter who has worn out our small children's nativity set, and I know she will be thrilled with all the extra pieces in this set. Angel! Shepherd! Sheep! Lantern - that really lights up! Gifts! (We bought the Three Kings set as well.) She hasn't seen it yet, because its a gift for Christmas, but I can imagine her delight with all the detailed pieces. I know she will spend hours reenacting the Christmas story, as well as lots of "side stories". I love Playmobil for its durability, colorfulness and attention to detail.

I was very impressed by this product and the details included. It has added to our family Christmas discussions and has been a great way for our daughter to interact with the nativity. Extremely hands on and lots of hours of play.
