My son is a lefty. He loves any toys that he can build things using his imagination. These he will play with all day! He loves them.

My 4 year old son loves the toys, as does my 7 year old daughter. It is great to see their imaginations at work!

We bought Fiddlestix for our grandchildren. They are easy to use and durable, also lots of fun for adults.

My almost 4 year old loves these. He would play with them all day if I let him. The only problem we have with them are there are not quite enough for him to share with his 2 older brothers so that they all have enough to build with. And the red dye of the red sticks can rub off onto their hands. I would suggest rubbing down the red ones a bit with fine sandpaper to eliminate this issue. Other than that, they are a wonderful building toy! My 9 and 8 yr olds love them also.

I bought Fiddlestix for my 4 year old. He likes the idea of building and it's an activity we can do together. The sticks are different lengths and colour coded which helps. Sticking them into each other can be tight sometimes. Some are really loose. Also you have to really push on them to get them to stay. Too hard for my 4 year old right now. But when we do it together it works! He loves the activity and the fact that it's a tight stick is good for the future. We love it! The bag is great. It keeps all the pieces together.

A great product. All the pieces are there. This will work well for me.

The Fiddlestix are doing just what I wanted: getting my 5 and 7 year old to spend longer on building creations of their own design (instead of using a toy that has only one use). The canvas draw-string bag is a big plus; it's easy to use and stash and I don't have to search for another plastic bin for storage.

My son just turned 4. He enjoys playing with the Fiddlestix although he still has trouble putting them together by himself. This gives his father an excuse to build with them too.

Love it. My son plays with my brother's Fiddlestixs he had as a kid. The sticks are 30 years old and my son is 6. It's nice to see a good traditional toy.

Great, mind-occupying toy

My 4 yr old son just loves this toy. We sit down together and build the designs shown on the included sheet, and then he spends an hour or more fiddling and playing with them. His 2 1/2 yr old brother also enjoys playing, though he makes up his own designs instead of following the directions. The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5, is because the pieces have chipped and cracked a bit here and there. Happens with thin wood, though I wish it didn't :) Also, it may never be an issue, but the paint on the fiddlestix does fade/spread with water (only found out when my 1 yr old put them in his mouth and ended up with red lips)
Overall, a fantastic toy that is very educational and fun!

Replicas of the old Tinker-Toy products that I used as a kid. Quality construction. I would rate them a good value/cost toy compared with other alternatives.

These are fantastic. Similar to the old Tinker-Toys but much stronger. We got these for our Grandaughter who is 5yrs old and vision impaired. The colored pieces make it easier for her to distinguish the different lengths of stix. She loves it. I recommend it very highly.

I bought the Fiddlestix for my 7yr. old grandson. He played with them constantly all weekend while visiting us. He is creative and made a lot of things.
I think the fiddlestix were a great buy and well worth the cost.

We bought our first set of Fiddlestix years ago for my older boys when they were little. Recently I bought some Tinkertoys, thinking that they would be better since they're the original wooden building toy that I remembered from my childhood. However, within the first few days of playing with Tinkertoys, a number of the pieces broke! I was very disappointed with the quality of the Tinkertoys. So I returned them and went to your website to buy more Fiddlestix for our youngest, who is three years old. He and his older brothers, who range up to 10 years old, all love the Fiddlestix!

We love this toy. It is essentially the old fashioned wooden "Tinker Toys" rather than the new plastic ones. We prefer toys that have a bit more weight to them as they actually seem to be more easy for a child to put two pieces together. Plastic parts tend to make it more difficult and they don't seem to last as long. The directions made it easy for my 5 year old to make the suggested things and then from there he seems to have gained the confidence in his ability to make up creations on his own. Our 3 year old has also gotten involved in making her own creations with this toy. I would say it is appropriate for that age too as long as the child has adequate fine motor skills to get the sticks in the holes. The amount of parts in the bag is perfect. There are parts enough for two children to play at the same time. I also like that it comes in a draw-string bag which makes it easy for children to remove the pieces and put them away on their own after they are done with them. A box tends to be ruined after a few uses so the bag is terrific for long term use.
