This is a very useful educational tool. My grandson was filled with questions about volcanoes and geysers after visiting Yellowstone National Park. This extended the learning experience with hands on projects.

When these products are listed it might be a good idea to know exactly what is inside. It was not as we expected. There was a little plastic model that was not very impressive. We had thought that there might be materials inside to help create a volcano ourselves. We will probably end up just using some of the paints that were enclosed to create our own. This might be a good project for first grader but not for a 4th grader who was told the bigger the better in her assignment. I'm afraid we chose the wrong product and spent too much money on something that we can't use.

The volcano is for a young homeschooler who is excited to get hands-on learning with the volcano kit.

The product was exactly what we were looking for. My daughter did a science project on Geysers. This is the only kit I could find that had working Geysers.

The kit was great. The information provided in the kit about volcanoes was informative and easy to understand for my 3rd grader. We chose to create our own paint scheme while using the directions as only a guideline since they just seemed to be too detailed. We are so pleased with the kit we plan to use it for my son's science project.

The toy was great. It was a full kit, with a full list of activities for more then one day learning. Though the directions were not the clearest, it was pretty easy to figure out. The only thing that i didn't like was the fact that we had to paint the set first then use the volcano, (the painting for kids is a little hard considering the directions were very intense) otherwise great fun for all ages!

My son loves the volcano kit. He is enjoying all the eruptions he is creating. He is going to use it for his science project at school. The literature that is included with the kit is great information. The kit is good to go!
