I ordered this for our 5 year old grandson. He and his dad had lots of fun with it. They enjoyed it so much that I have ordered one for his 5 year old cousin and dad.

My children love science. This toy not only feeds the curiosity in them, but does it safely. I no longer fill their toy boxes with mindless toys that are discarded minutes after opening.
I want to continue teaching through play, as this project does.

Instructions are clear, but parental assistance was required. At least where my kids were concerned, I helped in all phases of experimentation.

This was a fun thing to do with my 10 year old scientist. He had to measure, try to be neat, learn to mix stuff besides his favorite egg dish, and the stuff was great for a 10 year old to impress his friends. The conversation wonderfully deteriorated when he told his friends he made it himself.... leads to all kiinds of sources.
He loved it, and what better way to spend a couple of bucks on something like this to spend time together than a video game for a lot more money???
