Cute toy, and call me strange but I love the box! My daughter is a huge fan of Toy Story 2 and was thrilled to add this toy to her collection. It seems very well made and hasn't yet gotten tangled (though not for a lack of trying by my 2 and 4 year olds). My only two complaints are (1) supposedly due to federal regulations, the "leash" is about 2 inches long (we just tied a ribbon to it to make it longer so not that big a deal); and (2) it doesn't move the way I had hoped. The description says the back feet will wobble to catch up to the front, which isn't really true, and it's not easy even separating the front from the back - when you pull on the leash, the whole thing (front and back) pretty much just slides across the floor without stretching out at all.
Still a fun toy . . . but mainly because it's so cute.

The dog is hilarious, just like he is in Toy Story. He is a little hard to walk because of the way his body is held together, but if it wasn't held together I am sure he would be demolished in one day, so this is really a good thing.

The Retro Slinky dog arrived exactly as it was ordered, brand new and in perfect condition. It was a gift for my two year old grandson and he is in love with it!

The product is great! My only complaint is that the slinky doesn't stretch as far apart as I'd like; but it's still a fun toy for my little boy to have.

I purchased the item for my almost 3-year-old who is totally crazy about "Toy Story" characters in particular and dogs in general. She just loooooved the toy from the moment she saw it!!! Although she has tons of other toy dogs this one is undoubtedly Number One on her list because it is "alive". It can wag its tail, it can sit down, it can beg.... it can do all those things that "alive" dogs can do. The only thing that my daughter was quite disappointed about is the lack of a "real" leash and bigger wheels that would make walking the dog a little easier. Other than that Slinky is just a perfect treat for my spoiled little one!!! Thank you, Fat Brain Toys!!!

Great, classic toy, appears to be durable, so far, and my son loves the fact that he looks just like the one in the Toy Story movies. The only downside is that the leash is so short that even a two year old has to bend over to pull him along, but I understand that it is a safety issue and cannot be helped.

I was so happy to find a toy that was one of my childhood favorites. My granddaughter is coming from Knoxville next week and will get it for her birthday. I know she will love it. She's turning 2.

I purchased the product for my 5 year old daughter and was worried that it would be to "young" for her, as it seemed a toddler toy. Not so, she loves slinky dog. It's holding up to a great deal of activity and was the favorite of a recent play group. The Slinky has not warped or bent and he looks as good as he did when he came out of the box. The only thing she (and I) did not like was the pulle tie being permanently placed between the dogs eyes. I immediate ended up removing it we scissors (sharp ones to avoid a "string stub") and used a shoe lace to put a leash in the hole in the collar. Much happier child--may wish to revisit placement of the pull string or make it moveable in future.

This toy is adorable! My toddler's eyes lit up when we opened the box. He loves Dogs! He immediatley started playing with his slinky body, and tried to hug him. The quality seems good. But with any plastic toy it has the potential to break with rough play. I think as he gets older he'll take more interest in pulling him around. We will probably attach a longer string because the one it came with is very short, (safety reasons). Overall I like this toy a lot. It's fun having the exact same toy we see in the Movie "Toy Story". I know when my son makes that connection he'll love this toy even more.

Very nice re-make of a great old classic! Better than the original! It has features that keep it from getting tangled and strangled! I am impressed, and my 4 yr old daughter is thrilled with it! My daughter cried for one for months after watching the Toy Story movies. I didn't know if I would be able to locate one. I thought they were obsolete! But darned if they didn't remake it!

This is for my 1 year old for Christmas. I thought it was very well made, and I actually enjoyed playing with it. I had one when I was little, and I was excited that I could give it to my son as well. Plus it's adorable.

I was so pleased to find this product (slinky dog). My son who is a big fan of the Disney movie, Toy Story, will absolutely love this toy. It will be a gift for him and I cannot wait to see his reaction. As far as the quality, it seems to be in great condition and new, we do not have any play history to go by yet, although I am sure it will be fine. Thank you again for this great find.

The dog's wheels located inside the feet should be a little larger so the back follows the front without tipping over. My granddaughter calls her Slinky Dog "Lucy." It's one of her favorite toys. I must admit my husband and I both have a soft spot in our hearts for this toy as we both spent many hours as children playing with ours back in the 1950's.

The slinky dog is presented in an impressive, cool box. The birthday girl was pleased with the dog and pulled it around before unwrapping the next present. It's a fun and inexpensive gift that parents and children get a kick out of.
