This product was used to demonstrate the gravitational pull of the sun during the formation of the solar system. I used it in combination with bbs, iron filings and the smaller marbles in pie plates. The students loved how the iron filings just hung like beards on the jumbo magnetic marbles and clean up was quite easy because the jumbo magnets easily gathered the filings and bbs and let go of them with little effort. They were just what I was looking for.

Fun for young kids

I bought a 10 of these for my 5-6 yr old to play with. While they are entertaining and they do some cool things, as mentioned in other reviews, the magnets could be stronger. It would be nice if you could actually pick up a marble with another.

Magnetic Marbles

The variety of colors is nice. They are plenty magnetic but I'd like to see just a tad stronger magnet, not so strong that it pinches. I like the larger size of these, as they are easy to manipulate by many hands.
