Good, basic train

I bought this as a first train set for my son who is 14 months. He likes it, but is still a little young to use it as a real train set, as I anticipated. Still, the tracks and trains seem well-constructed and the Thomas engine and the letter cars I bought to supplement the set work on the tracks as well so we'll be able to add in other trains/train sets as he gets older. The box is fairly sturdy too, and doubles as a drum. :)

I purchased this set for my granddaughter who is fascinated by trains. She loves it and makes her parents put it together for her several times a day! Perfect size for setting up on a coffee table which puts it at her level for easy play. The magnets that connect the train cars are very strong and hold well. Pieces are all well made. A high quality product!

Surprised at how small the train set is. Each piece is veryi small. There
were only 3 pieces of train. That meant no caboose ! Otherwise, the train set is O.K.
