Great For Young Preschoolers
Posted 10/24/2007 by Rachel Conner

Both my 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old can play penguin pile up. The kids think it is funny when the penguins that fall off the ice become part of your penguin rookerie. They will ooh and aah over the "baby chicks" that have been born, even though it means they are farther from winning. The game seems to be holding up well. It's a very simple game, which is important for young children!

I am using Penguin Pile Up with my speech therapy groups. It has really kept the kids engaged while I am working on different articulation goals. We are all enjoying it!

The penguins have to be assembled from 3 separate pieces. There is some gapping where the parts do not fit perfectly. The packaging is great. When they are not playing the game, your child's imagination is the only limit with a couple dozen little plastic penguins.

Penguin Pile Up

A fun toy. My son got it for his fourth birthday and he enjoys it. He is in the "I hate to lose" stage so we rarely finish a game, but we sure get it out to play a lot.

Ravensburger toys and games are always of great quality. The games are classics because they are well-made, entertaining, and encourage sociability.
