My 9 year old niece is a little younger than the recommended age but loves puzzle. She did find it a little complicated to keep together. I think it would be fine for a little older child, but she still likes it.

My grandchildren loved putting this puzzle together and took it apart to do it again. However, a piece was missing (part of Africa) and we looked everywhere for it. That made the globe disappointing to us all. We did the puzzle on a table, carefully watching to make sure not to loose a piece. I am not sure how the puzzle is packed. And of course, there is always the chance that we lost the piece but I can't find it anywhere.

My son loved it!!! Said to order another for Christmas. It was really cool how all the pieces were labeled and how it all went together.

Bought for a 9 year old. Puzzle is very engaging and an excellent learning tool. The child is pleased and I look like a hero.

My daughter picked this toy, she is ten, her friends and her use it as a time capsule. They built the puzzle half way and then put items in it, to later open up (for them on their wedding day). They are ten year old girls, so this seems like a great idea for them! It will be interesting to see if the puzzle ball lasts till their wedding days, but what a great friend gift it will be if it does!

We are still working on it. It is challenging and exciting. The perfect gift for kids who are gifted and enjoy working with their hands.

My son and I put it together as a team. It took us several nights (just because of time constraints), and he wouldn't stop until it was done!
