This is our third set of straws and connectors! (Not because they wore out, we just want to build bigger creations!) Our 4 children just can't get enough! They range from 3-10 years old and all love to build forts, castles, doll houses, etc!

We are very happy to have ordered the straws and connectors toy- I remember playing with such a toy when I was a kid. I was surprised when we received these to see that all the connector pieces were identical -I recall there being different types of connectors, some that could attach 2 straws, 3 straws, 4 and 5 straws- I think that added more creative ways to use the straws. I did research on line if that more old fashioned type was avail anywhere and it wasnt. I am sure this is a quicker, easier, and cheaper way to manufacture such a toy but I do think thats a shame when kids imagination should be at the forthought of brainstorming and toy creations.
