I had been looking for an item like this for my daughter's diorama in all the stores and couldn't find it. I found it here and it is perfect for her needs and it is of good quality.

Wild West Toob

Rating:

We purchased both the Wild West Toob and the Powhatan Toob for our son's 5th birthday. He had a cowboy themed party. Both he and his sister are enjoying interactive play with these little figures. I lsearched for a long time in children's stores for cowboy/western related toys that were non-violent and of good quality. The Wild West Toob met bith those criteria and added a bit more than I expected (e.g., a cowgirl, covered wagon, and bison). Thank you for offering these products. I'm sure our children will enjoy them for a long time.

miniature figures wild west, early america, & native americans
Posted 3/27/2008 by Bert Meltzer

When I first saw the figures in the Wild West Toob, Jamestown toob, etc. and the others that I purchased, it reminded me of imaginative games I played as a small child. So I purchased a variety of miniature figures in toobs primarily as a present to my grandchildren to stimulate their imagination and fantasy play. The price is very modest, and the figures durable and detailed enough to be appreciated. I have been so impressed with these figures I am glad I bought enough to keep so to use as therapeutic figures for my clinical work as a Sandplay Therapist. Great figures, good durable material, and at a most affordable price. I am totally satisfied with this product. Only small complaint is the lack of proportion between elements within a set: ex: space ship, and satelite smaller than the astronuts etc.

Setting: School

We ordered the Wild West Toob for a school project. The items are not the same scale. The wagon is smaller than the buffalo. It would be better if the items were in the same scale for projects and for play.

Cute Toy
Posted 12/26/2007 by Cathy Wilson

Rating:

These are really cute and realistic looking, I got them for my 5 year old granndson, he loved them , he has played with them off and on all day today. They are small so I wouldnt give them to a child that still puts things in there mouth but they are real cute for an older child.

My grandson and I love this. We use it as settlers when he builds Lincoln Log cabins. We also ordered Powhaten Indians. They are also great to use as Indian villages near the settlers cabins! It is very hard to find this sort of thing, in toy stores or online. I have noticed cowboys and Indians mostly look as if they are fighting/shooting. These are of a peaceful variety - exactly what I wanted!

Toob makes beautiful, colorful plastic figures. I do wish some of the figures were bigger or more to scale. For example, the teepee and stagecoach are the same size or smaller than the people.

Excellent quality. Excellent theme. (It's hard to find western theme figures). Special kudos on having cowboys and Indians that portray everday peaceful scenes. (My daughter was complaining that all my old figurines from my youth were shooting something.) The out-of-scale Connestoga Wagon could be substituted by another person and perhaps sold separately. Expand this theme and advertise it. It may be ready to take off again.

Nice product. Could be a little better in scale...people are too big, wagons, etc too little.
