We loved this product. It got our kid off screens. he is 5 and was fixated on building the vehicles exactly to spec. he did it with his dad. i think he will build more open ended in the future. we are combining this kit with a second one.
My son loves using tools so that part is great. it would be better if the container is smaller b/c it doesn't need to be that big for the parts and it takes up a lot of space to store.

looked for a gift that he would enjory since he is mechanically inclined and taking doorknobs off in house and turning off the electricity. I am sure he will enjoy this gift

We bought this for our 6 year old. He opened it up right away and his dad accidentally stepped on one of the pieces, breaking it in half before it was ever used. Because our boys love to build things, we thought this would be played with non-stop but it has barely been touched.
