The perfect iron for the play-house

I was searching for an iron that was not plastic and didn't have switches and knobs (they inevitably break and frustrate users) for children ages 3-8 to use in the play-house. This is a beautiful tin iron with a wooden handle. It is heavy enough to feel real in little hands but not too heavy. It glides smoothly over fabric items and doesn't catch on anything. It balances beautifully in the holder on the little ironing board. The price was realistic unlike many other lower quality irons I saw elsewhere. Boys up to age seven and girls up to age eleven (yes the visiting older sisters can't resist) have used it and love this iron and, despite many drops and tugs and miles of ironing, it is still as good as new over a year after I bought it. I waited to submit a review to see how the iron would hold-up over time. I am pleased to say that I am still delighted with this iron.
