Your bells are used with children ranging from 4 to 8 followed by 9 to 12 year olds every week (bells are shaken with all their might) and they haven't broke yet. I'm impressed so far. Thanks

These bells are lovely. My 5 year old loves them and I like the letter coding on the tips of each bell in addition to the color coding. My only complaint was that the sticker fell from on bell, but still good sound quality easy to play music right great bargain for the price.

This was a gift for my daughters for Christmas. They (as well as other family members) have really enjoyed using them. The nice thing about them is that you ideally need to have at least 3 people to play a song, so the bells encourage problem-solving to find the best assignment of bells to each person (so the song has continuity), teamwork and good listening. Playing the bells also fosters a love of music and allows people to improve their understanding of pitch. I anticipate that my kids will play with these for a long time!

I purchased these hand bells for my 4 year old granddaughter who is taking piano lessons. Her mother is a hand bell player at their church. We had more fun with these bells than with any other Christmas gift. I could not believe the "beautiful music" the five of us were making! Great product!

Great hand bells!

I bought the hand bells for my daughter for Christmas. She is 4 1/2 years old. I play hand bells in a hand bell choir at church, and she is always interested in the bells, so I thought getting her a set of her own would be a good idea.
Although I was a little worried that she might not be old enough for the bells, these bells were the hit of our Christmas this year in spite all of the other great gifts she got! The whole family joined in and played songs. We enjoyed a lot of fun and laughter trying to play songs together. Even my three-year-old son enjoyed playing them.
The bells themselves have a very nice tone and are very well made. My only complaint that the plastic box that they come in is not a good storage system after the bells have been opened. I'm not sure how we're going to store the bells when they're not being played.

The only negative was the container. Your company would do better to add a buck or two. An inexpensive plastic container with little handle and socks to put the bells for protection during carrying works well!
Sound is good.

This product was purchased for my granddaughter's music class in school. She attends a small, Christian school, which does not have the funds to purchase musical instruments for their students. The new music teacher is using hand bells and small keyboards to introduce the children to music. She is preparing the kids to present a hand bell performance at their Christmas program. My granddaughter loves these bells and they are fostering an advid desire in her to play and learn. This product is the one which the music teacher recommends to the kids.

Fun and educational

I ordered these to keep my grandkids entertained at our annual Christmas get-together. They loved them. In about 5 minutes I had the 9,8 and 6 year old playing Jingle Bells for the family. We plan on learning a new song each Chirstmas.

I purchased this toy as a holiday present for my grandson, who is about 2 12 years old. My grandson has perfect, loves to sing and play his toy guitars and drums; and thinks he's a rock star (like the Wiggles). He LOVES the bells. They really have a nice sound (not annoying at all). He really enjoys playing with them, and even seems to understand they are a set (by the way he lines them up). The ONLY complaint I would have is that the notes each bell is sounds when rung are identified by a sticker letter attached to the top of the bell handle, and these easily fall off and get lost. So when he gets older, and wants to be able to follow the music by note (music comes with the toy), he may not know which note each bell rings.

Awesome kids handbells

I was looking for inexpensive handbells for my first grade and third grade Christmas programs. These were the least expensive I could find and are holding up VERY well to the treatment of my students. They sound great and are very easy to use for the kids!!! I had them set up for third and first grade classes, and my fifth graders were begging to play them!!!! The color coding idea also works well to include my Special Education students with a high level of needs.

we are using 2 bells for a musical - the e and the g
but the set is very cute and we loved the enclosure that showed how to play songs with the bells
and we liked all the colors so we are hiding the unused ones so the actors don't play with them and annoy us

We are told that our 1-yr. old granddaughter picks up the handbells and immediately starts "groovin' to the sounds she is making." Perfect learning tool for rhythm and timbrel sounds.

This product was so much more than I expected. It was high quality, very durable for 2 young boys ages 2 and 4. They haven't put it down since receiving it a few days ago. The bells were very colorful and look very nice as well as sound great.

Fun, But Mediocre Quality

So far I have given my son 2 of the different bells. He does seem to enjoy them, and enjoy comparing the sounds. However, when I handed him one this morning, he immediately decided to bang it against something, and now the enamel is scratched up. Not just scratches, but nice little gashes. I didn't think they'd damage quite so easily. This is a defect in the appearance only, of course, but still, I had hoped for something a bit more rugged.

These are really nice bells with a lovely tone. I was slightly disappointed that the handles were plastic, as they appeared to be wood in the picture. I would also prefer that the notes be painted directly on the handles, instead of on stickers, because stickers are going to come off easily. My 4yo loves them, however, and they are a nice adjunct to piano lessons. The included song sheet is easy to read and follow along. I would buy these as a gift for children from 3-7yo.

My 4-10 years olds enjoy it very much. The grips are easy for little hands to grasp. By each note having its own color, it begin to teach them the sound of the note associated with the color which improves their listening skill. Also, they are having fun especially when it begins to sound like a song they are familiar with.

I ordered these to use with preschool and elementary classes at school, but have not had a chance to introduce them to the kids yet. The bells seem to be high quality and well made. They had a good sound, and I'm sure the kids will enjoy them.

My grandauaghter was thrilled to get the hand bells for her birthday! A family at her church has a larger set and plays when they have special music so she has been fastinated by them. Her mom and dad and two brothers have been having a great time with them. It is now a part of their family worship.

Actually, I bought the musical handbells to be used as a family activity. We gathered around the table and played Christmas carols and songs using the hand bells. Each person was assigned a particular bell to ring. We had so much fun trying to play the songs that we intend to do this every year as a Christmas tradition!
The bells are sturdy and well-made. We really got our money's worth with this item.

because my son is autistic and also blind, it is hard to find a toy that doesn't require visiual stimulus to enjoy. This one fits his needs exactly. They are also sturdy and will last a long time, I'm sure, even though his ringing is exuberant.

This product will be used mostly at Christmas. I have tried the musical bells, and like what I hear. There is one problem----all ring very easily except note "A" which hardly rings or rings once. I would appreciate nay advise on how to fix this problem.

I recently purchased this set of handbells for my 18 month old goddaughter, who absolutely loves them! The tonal quality is excellent for a children's instrument, and they seem to be very durable thus far!

We ordered these bells to supplement the ones we already have. These bells work very nicely with our others. They are not professional by any means but they work well for what we use them for.
You will need to find storage for them when done, the packaging will not suffice as a storage container.

Well constructed. Very colorful. Good tone. Purchased for a five year old who is delighted, using this toy often. I would give 5 stars if the bells had wood handles and more songs were included with the product.

We gave our daughter these bells for her 4th birthday. She loves them! They are very good quality and sound beautiful. The bells come with some sheet music and we have been having fun trying to play the different songs. Very nice product!

I am using the bells in a teaching environment. The students are ages 3 - 11. I expected the younger aged children to enjoy the bells but the older children really did as well. The tone of the bells are excellent. The are in perfect tune with our piano which get's tuned every 6 months. It's a great way to introduce music and harmony to children. The colors are so fun and vibrant as well. I am very pleased.

I actually purchased these bells to have a "practice set" since I recently joined the bell choir at church as a novice, and need to practice at home. The church bells are not to be taken out of our practice hall. They work well and I really like the price.
hand bells - pros and cons

I purchased these as replacements. The bells sound good, and kids love to play them. Also, this brand is much less expensive than the other brand available.
However, these do not come in a reusable box (like the other brand does) - instead, it comes in a bendable plastic box that doesn't serve as a storage box once you take the bells out. I had to find another container to store them. The other drawback is the little stickers that show the letter of the notes (A-G). Some had come off before I even took the bells out of the plastic box, and others were loose. I had to cut small round pieces of tape to secure them back on top of the handles.

I had seen these bells at a friend's house for years and had wanted them. I like the vintage look to them. I wished, however, they came in a cardboard box instead of the flimsy plastic case. I can't use the plastic case as a container to hold them. The bells are nice colors and the tone of them is pleasing.

These bells are great. They have a wonderful tone, and the notes are clearly marked on each one. I love the rainbow of colors. The little song sheet that came with them is easy to read. I had never tried to play bells before, but I was actually able to play through a couple of the songs immediately. They would definitely be a good investment for anyone who wants to introduce a young child to reading the treble clef. I expect to get a lot of use out of these bells.

I bought this item for my daughter after a child development appt where they had a bell that she loved. She is completely facinated by these and thoroughly enjoying ringing, swinging, and playing with these. The colors are great, the music that comes with them with a couple of songs is perfect. It covers a full octave and I like that it will help her learn notes.

Both my 4 year old and 6 year old enjoy using these handbells! The sound of each note is very pleasant. We line them up from middle C to high C and they are able to play the music (we purchased an additional song book). They especially enjoy playing a song together with Mom or Dad.

The bells are just noisemakers without "music" for the children to follow and play. With one single sheet of paper music and badly color-coded at that, the interest in the bells was short-lived. I have 5 grandchildren 8,6,4,4,&2 and only the youngest showed no interest in the bells. But the older ones each played the 4 songs offered then carefully put the bells away back in their box! 1) Include a much larger selection of songs with the original purchase, (even if it costs a little more) and over the option to order more either from the vendor, or to print out online. 2) It is almost impossible to see the yellow against the white. Print the colors surrounded in a black outline or box-- the children commented on that!

I immediately started playing with these myself as soon as I got them. The kids love theme too so far. They have a great sound and the color coding makes them easy to pick up and play.
The only problem I have is with the sticking labels on the end of the handels. They immediately started peeling off and getting lost.

I bought two sets of these to give as Christmas gifts - one for my great-niece (3-yr-old) and one for my granddaughter (2-yr-old). I can't comment on their reactions yet, obviously, but I am excited to give these gifts -- their colors are just gorgeous! (I'm the kind of person who has always gotten excited opening a new box of 64 crayons!!) I wish they came in a sturdier package - the thin, clear poly box tends to open up if not held by the bottom, but that's a minor issue. I'm very pleased with my purchase!
