I'm sure it has the potential for many tasks. My son is not one to read a manual, so he thinks the programming is cumbersome. I wish the neck was a little sturdier also. It's the most likely place to pick up the robot, yet, it seems the least sturdy. If we get through the manual though, it does sound impressive.

As my 11-year-old grandson programmed his first mission on Christmas day, he said "If this works I'll feel like a scientist." When it worked perfectly, he was all smiles. Later in the day he said "I forgot what else I got for Christmas now that I have a robot." The next day his parents called to say that he had done nothing else but program (and decorate) his robot. It may be the best gift I have ever given him.
