Design Flaw on Net/Pitch-back

The product is fine with the big exception of the black fasteners (not sure what else to call them) that are supposed to secure the pitch-back/soccer net to the lower bar. The problem is, these fasteners are basically partially open-mouthed pieces of plastic that frequently come off after only a few throws to the pitch-back net. They shouldn't be open-mouthed, they should be closed-mouthed clips that don't require constant attention -- every three or four times my son throws his ball against the pitch-back, at least one or two of these fasteners fall loose from the net, which means every four to five minutes I have to stop my kid from playing and go back and adjust the fasteners. I ultimately solved the problem by going to a hardware store and buying 5-6 standard key chain clips to supplement these fasteners -- at the cost of an additional $12. I'm disappointed in this product because I had to spend extra money to make sure it works the way it is supposed to.


	If the net fails - you've got a safety net. Our customer was promptly compensated for the defective product. Additionally, we contacted the manufacturer. Their response: "This is the first time that we have heard anything like this since this product has been on the market. We don’t understand how the net/clip could be detaching as it is a very tight fit when assembled properly. Anyone with this issue should contact customer care." That's us - we care! Product review of Kickback Soccer Goal & Pitch Back

I got this for my grandsons aged 5, 8 & 12. It is a bit miniature for the older boys but a good size for indoors or in the yard. assembling the net was the only challenge but it's pretty sturdy and works well as a soccer or steet hockey net and as a pitch back net. It should allow for a lot of fun with friends.

sturdy

Lots of fun for creating a "real" game in the back yard at home. My son hasn't quite gotten into using the kickback feature and would much rather have someone play with him, but perhaps at 5 he isn't ready to concentrate on building skills and is more interested in playing the game.

Good outdoor for small children

It was easy to assemble and does the trick of having the children go play outside. The two sticks are made of plastic though, they are made for 2-3 years old. I didn't have a pump to inflate the soccer ball, so that was a down.

Holders are tough to work with

My kids aren't too into sports yet - I'm hoping this will increase their interest! They definitely love the hockey part (wish it came with two pucks). My main/only complaint - it's tough to get the net/holders to work. I'm typically pretty good mechanically but the net keeps slipping out at the bottom. I even took all the holders off an turned it around, thinking maybe I had it backwards. Same problem. I ended up "re-enforcing" with twisty ties. Works well now.

Soccer goal & pitch back

My son loves his new goal and pitch back! He is 3 years old and wants to go outside to play with it constantly! Can't wait til it warms up outside. We love it!
