Have enjoyed Apple to Apples Junior with my grandgirls, and the adult version with my movie girls so donating this edition to the kids at my church for their confirmation class seemed like a good fit.

Love the challenge of the game as it causes us to think about all those Bible stories we thought we knew so well!

The family who received the Bible version of Apples to Apples is enjoying the game. They are home schooled children who range in ages from 1-13 years old. Apples to Apples, the original game was also purchased for our family and we are enjoying it very much. Our folks range in age from 10 - 70 years old and we find it is a family game that appeals to all.

Family Fun Night!

Our family of three teens and parents had a lot of laughs playing Apples to Apples Bible version. Unfortunately with this version, there isn't much you can argue about God who is perfect but usually there were plenty of other options to debate. It was fun to see my children laugh so much. I plan to use it with the church youth group also and think it will work well with them.

I bought this game because I teach religious education through my church. This game made for a fun, educational break from our regular curriculum.

I've loved the regular and junior edition of Apples to Apples. I am a Pastor and we are going to use the Bible edition in the confirmation class and with the youth.

Great Game!

This is a great game for nearly all ages. The very young and those who can't read are not good candidates for this one! We already owned the regular party box and added the Bible edition to or toy chest. Fun and easy to play.

This is very much like the original game, just as much fun. I bought it for our church youth group and it's the game everyone wants to play. Many age levels of use from middle school level to adult.

It was super fun to play with our youth group, growth group, Sunday School class, or just as a family! I just wish it came with more cards encompassing even more of the Bible!

Excellent Game

I purchased this game to liven up a secular Bible literacy group. I am very pleased with the product. The game is both appropriate for Christians who want to interact with the Bible in a fun way as well as for secular people who just want to extend their familiarity with the Bible in an informal, entertaining manner. Great product, excellent quality, and can be mixed with the basic Apples to Apples game also.

This game is a lot of fun. Last weekend we had a group of friends over and we played the game. Because of the large group, we paired up on teams to play. Our Pastor and his wife won the game! I highly recommend this game.

I used this on a weekend youth retreat and the kids loved it! We used it two ways - one doing it strictly by the words and then by the Bible verses that are included on each card. It really sparked some lively discussions between our youth and helped us to grow a little in our Bible knowledge!

Fun Game But KJV Too Hard To Understand
Posted 1/16/2007 by Kay Thornton

Rating:

I lead a small group and purchased this game for us to play at one of our meetings. We played it and although we had a lot of fun playing it, it would have been more effective if the Bible verses had not been taken from what I assume is the King James Version. The Bible verses were very hard to read and understand and made it very difficult for the Judge to read allowed and the players to understand. It makes no sense to me for that version to have been used in this game. The NIV would be much easier to read and for players to understand. I was also very disappointed that when I purchased the game, I had no idea the Bible verses were going to be from the KJV. I cannot find anywhere on the box or instructions informing us of what translation the Bible verses are taken from. The translation needs to appear as part of the advertisement of this game.

Love this game! We already enjoyed the original version of Apples to Apples, but the Bible Edition version of the game is a nice addition to our game collection.
