Tangle DNA

I was intrigued by the new Tangle and couldn't wait to get one with all the new textures, which it does have. While fiddling with it straight out of the box I was going to change the the order of the links and it broke. Not a major deal - I just popped off the two broken pieces and still fiddle with it daily. Maybe it was a freak accident, maybe, but I am too scared to pop any of the other links like I do with my other Tangles.

We used this toy in a church event where we had a 'lab' type of setting in a room with blacklight. The DNA worked great under the blacklight and the kids really liked them. It helped keep the kids attention as we taught them about DNA. The price was the best we could find for this product. Thumbs up!

Tangles Are Great!

Although they are made in China, Tangles are a wonderful gift for people of any age over 3 years. These puzzles entertain and teach on a variety of levels. They can be combined in a variety of ways, by color. Texture and also as packaged. The dimension I enjoyed the most was that it was impossible to tie them in a knot unless that was your purpose, or if you reduced the number of links. The shapes they create are reminiscent of so many other things: cats cradle knots, macaroni necklaces, but are designed to keep changing just at the twist of the wrist. The other advantages to a parent are that they are a quiet toy, do not need batteries and can be played with independently. The links join together securely so they can pivot with use. They are also inexpensive, so they can be a special surprise toy or an instant gift for unexpected occasions.

My son has a lot of sensory problems. He uses one of these in therapy. I bought 3. We have one at school, in the car and at home. It calms him. I love to play with it. It is a lot of fun!

Small, But Interesting

It was a little smaller than I imagined. It's appealing to my kids and my mother who has dementia.
