I bought the tangle jr fuzzy on the way to my grandson's two year check up. I thought it would be something new to keep him occuppied. The first thing he did was pull it apart. I did not realize it would come apart and knowing the parts were to small for a two year old I immediately seized it. Looking at the box I did see where it states not for children under 3, but it is not in an aobvious spot. I had to hunt for that information that I had not seen when I was debating buying it. That said, I have older grandchildren who like to play with it when we are traveling in the car. They allow their imaginations to shape it into many different shapes. I often carry it in my pocket to pull out for a bored grandchild. My one stipulation is that they are not allowed to pull it apart because I don't think it would last long if it was constantly taken apart and put back together.

The product definitely stimulates my daughter's imagination. I recently purchased a couple for a play date and the girls had a great time.

I bought these for my students, for a course on Knot Theory. The Tangles are a great learning tool, and a great advertisement for cool mathematics.

I work in a child and adolescent psychiatric facility and with those children with extreme anxiety or extreme attention problems playing with the tangle is helpful to them while they are having submit to interviews, testing or individual and family therapy sessions.
