Our 9-year-old daughter couldn't wait to dig into this. She enjoyed solving the mysteries and finding the treasures inside.

Pretty good - fun is over quickly though...

I'll preface this by saying that the child I bought this for is a few years younger than the recommended age... The best part of this product is, of course, digging in the pyramid. There is also a book of experiments and other things you can do, which we are and will likely do over time, but the biggest feature is the dig, and I thought that was a little too easy, and was over a little too quickly. It would be nice to have to put a little more effort into it. In any case, my daughter LOVED digging in the pyramid, and proudly displayed her treasures. For that alone, this is worth it.
