Great ...but could be better

I purchased the C3000 Chemistry set for myself; I was looking for the most in depth and sophisticated set I could find. After a week of searching the net, it was hands down the C3000. It is a quality product and not having any prior chemistry experience taken into consideration, I will say that they didn't go cheap on anything. As to the manual that comes with to explain the experiments and how to perform them, proofreading was not done by a qualified chemist - to put it bluntly ...I have already found several errors, mostly the lack of concrete and appropriate details. When you purchase this set, please be advised that you will need to go out and get a few more chemicals/things and you may also want additional literature on how to dillute said chemicals. All in all, this would not deter me from my original purchase and I am more than satisfied but it would be nice if they spent more time, effort and consideration in the compilation of the manual provided because some people, my self included, have no chemical background or a family member that does. Should you or someone in your home have chemistry experience and are knowledgeable enough, I doubt you will find any down side to this set.

I cannot comment on the chemistry set as it is a Christmas gift for my grand-daughter. After Christmas, I will rate the set.
