We bought the Physics Solar Workshop kit for a school science project for our 5th grader. When it arrived he was excited. He had to build a solar car then write a short paper on solar cars. Not only did he have fun builing the project, but the informational booklet that was included answered many of his questions for his paper. The kit has many different things you can build that will run off the solar panel.

I purchased this for my 14 year old grandson. He told me that it was fantastic and loads of fun. He found it somewhat challenging, but still he would have liked more of a challenge. I would recommend this to anyone with a child who has an interest in creating, building and science. It was truly a good purchase. These toys are great.

Physics Solar Workshop Shines

My kids have dived right into the Physics Solar Workshop, which offers not only the fun of building something but of seeing it "in action" with the application of light. It's nice that things can be taken apart to build new creations. Absolutely a great thing to have around for summer vacation.

Physics Solar Workshop

I ordered the Physics Solar Workshop for my 8 yr old son. He had to do a science experiment for school. He wanted to do something unique. We both loved it. He made the windmill enjoyed showing it to his class. The kit is very sturdy but we did have a problem with the red and black cables. My hsuband came to our rescue and had to repair the cables to make the current go through them. I ended up contacting the caompany directly and they sent me a new pair of cables free. We have tried almost all of the build models. Love it.

This is a great educational toy! Even though it is recommended for children 8 years and up, younger children can enjoy it with adult supervision. My 5 year old was beyond words when he opened it and was building little projects instantly. Included project book is easy to follow with great pictures and detailed instructions.

Very nice and quite intuitive product for the given age range. Would strongly recommend. I'm pretty sure this will keep the kids occupied at least couple of hours per day during the summer time.

This was a father's day gift and our son really loves playing with it. With in the first 30 minutes he had something built and didn't even use the book was able to create his own idea off the bat and it worked great. Dad likes the gift also and has also been playing with the set and says he is pleased with the set.

My seven year old daughter loves science and was eager to open this up and play. She and my husband had a great time assembling and creating. I would recommend this product.
