A game that captivates even teens who have, in their lifetime, played with with every other toy on the market! Even my college bound child stops by the fridge and tinkers with the pieces and then rolls a marble or two. I enthusicastically reccommend this toy.

I bought this as a 7th birthday gift for my great-nephew. As the party wasn't at his house, and as it was a gift with lots of parts, they decided not to open the box until they got home. I have since heard from my niece that not only did Baylee enjoy the gift, but that his 9-year-old brother, Alex, loves it as well. After describing Frigits to my twin 7-year-old grandsons, they are convinced it is something they'd like to receive for Christmas this year.

We have had the frigits on our refrigerator for years. My kids still play with it. It's a kid magnet. When kids come into the kitchen they cannot keep their hands off of it. Teenagers and adults love it too. Usually adults need some eggy to play with it, but once they try it they're hooked. I'm buying 3 for presents. It's a wonderful gift for all ages.

I got this for my 26 year young boyfriend because he visited a friend's house where their child had this set up on their fridge and he fell in love with it. It's great fun for all ages. The pieces are quite durable. I was surprised how easy and quick it was to set up and there's so much flexibility in it. There are tons of possibilities of different ways to use it. It can be quite addictive and is a great ice breaker!

Both kids (ages 5 & 8) love it. Stays on refrigerator well. Marbles sometimes miss the container and go rolling across the kitchen floor and sometimes under the refrigerator.

Its really a great product. First got the smaller version, then decided to get the deluxe to go with it. The dad loves it (me) and the kids do too ! My 5 year old daughter, and my 9 year old son both stop and play with it throughout the weekend. What better way to teach them elementary physics than this, and they don't even know they are learning. Very cheerful on the front of my stainless fridge. I highly reccomend this toy. Go for it ! p.s. some people complain the wheels don't really spin, and sound like they have something loose in them. They are not supposed to spin. There is a marble inside them to stop them in the same place. When a marble falls into them, they rotate and dump it out. They are like an indexing wheel. At any rate, they don't spin. Have fun, I love it.

I purchased this product for my 7 year old grandson's birthday. It kept the 7 year old, 8 year old, and 9 year old entertained all evening. We left the game at Grandma's and both the 7 and 8 year old played for at least 45 minutes when they visited later in the week. I believe it is toy they will continue to enjoy when they visit.

The Frigits were awesome!My husband enjoys them as much as the kids.My nephew stayed with us for the weekend and played with them most of the time he was here.I ordered another set for his birthday.It is the best.I also like it because the Frigits can be arranged over and over in different setups for the marbles to roll through.The only thing I noticed was the marble sometimes gets held up on the extra corner extention we ordered.But not usually.All in all,We love this toy!Keep them coming.

My kids have really had fun with Frigits! Every child that comes over is drawn to it as well... figuring out different ways to configure the pieces for the marbles to run. It would also be fun for a big magnet board in a child's room or playroom!

The first thing my gifted students run to in the classroom is the Frigits wall (it's magnetic). I also admit that, when the kids have left, I play with it myself and tinker with the arrangement. Other teachers who drop in do the same. A lot of parents have asked about it and it will be turning up under a lot of holiday trees. HIGHLY recommended (Deluxe set).

Ok, I had to keep finding things for my son to go and do so I could play with the Frigits Deluxe. They are so much fun. When my son was getting it all ready he could would jump up and down with excitement before he would drop the marble to see if his creation is going to work or need tweaking. His room is fixed up like a robot lab with metal on the walls so he has a big space to navigate the frigits (maybe we need 2 sets?).

This is a great distraction. Much better than those poetry magnets on most refrigerators. The build quality wasn't what I expected (magnets aren't very strong, marbles different sizes, plastic needs some deburring, etc). For more variety of motion get the additional pieces kit.

This very cool toy comes with plenty of components that can be arranged and rearranged into simple to complex configurations. My youngest child, who is 4 years old, can create a simple marble run on his own. The older child (6 years old), chooses more complex runs. Using analytical skills and trial-and-error, the kids are engaged in this clever activity. So much better than passive video games!

I bought this for my 6 year old as she loves constructive play type activities and she has really enjoyed playing with her 4 year old brother. She loves figuring out how to lay out the ramps to allow the marbles to flow smoothly from one to the next.

I bought the entire package with extra pieces. I'm very glad I did. As a teacher, I am using this in my classroom. During open house for elementary students, the new kids immediately gravitated to it and relaxed right away.

This product was bought as a gift for twin 7 year old boys. Apparently they can't stop playing with it. The mom says they usually play with it for an hour or more during the day, then when dad gets home they play another hour or two with it. My husband even played with it and loved it. I would recommend this toy for all children ages 6-12 and even for adults. It is very similar to a game my child did at camp invention this year which was a huge hit with all the kids. We bought another to give as a gift later this year, and will likely by more.

When I ordered the Fridgits (plus expansion pack) I never imagined *I* would enjoy it as much as my three-year-old. I myself catch myself playing with this toy after he goes to bed for the night. My little guy is fascinated with the way things work, and this Rube-Goldberg-ian toy caters to that perfectly. It takes a few minutes to get a marble run to work perfectly, but that experimentation is more than half the fun. Shortly after we get a working run, we almost always pull it apart to start again. My son also likes to try to see what else will work with the run. Round magnets run and then stick to the fridge; "O"-shaped magnets roll for a few minutes but are too oblong; bouncy-balls are too large. He's learning a lot about how gravity and shape work. I highly recommend the extra pack of track. It will allow you to turn corners and use the exposed side of a refrigerator, or just give you a few extra switchbacks if your fridge is within cabinetry. We love having the extra tracks. Also: It drives the cat CRAZY. He can hear the marbles going back and forth but can't catch them until they get to the cup. He likes to watch us play. My son loves to put the cup low enough for the cat to compete for the marbles.

My four year old son really enjoys this toy. He does need a bit of help getting the ramps to line up. But he constantly wants to do what he calls the "rollercoaster toy." The only con is that the ramps are much larger than I anticipated. They stick out pretty far from the fridge which can make opening our fridge door (which opens towards a wall) difficult. All in all, though, this is a great toy.

My 5 year old girl loves this - she makes a different marble run every day. The hardest part about this toy is letting the child figure it out on their own - it is so tempting to get in and play with it yourself!

Great idea! My 9-year old son loves it. A lot of problem solving, testing, and checking to get the course right. And provides a sense of accomplishment once it is finished. Thought, one of the pieces doesn't spin very easily, and is usually left out of the course.

My 6 year old son received this as a gift. Overall it is a great, fun toy. It takes time to get all the pieces to work together & get the marble to do the course. The magnets are very strong so they do not slip around on the fridge which was a concern of mine. In the end this toy had my son, myself, my husband, 12 year old nephew, 5 & 9 year old neices playing & laughing for a good hour. Highly recommend it

I purchased this game so that I would have a game that our 2 grandsons aged 5 and almost-9 could play when they come to our home. The game's a big hit! Both boys continually stop by the refrigerator individually and rearrange the various parts of the toy to invent a new maze for the balls to roll down. It keeps their attention for long periods of time. They also like to play it with us (grandparents). We have big discussions as to what might happen if we move a part from 1 place to to another in the maze. Problem-solving at its best! And they don't get frustrated! They just laugh when the balls fly off the maze and try to fix the problem.

Frigits Deluxe was ordered for my son. He LOVED it. He likes creating different arrangements of them so the marbles will fall quickly, slowly, long drops, etc. I bought the corner pieces and the spring loaded shot to add interest and they were well recieved. For kids that like to create different games, or challenges to gravity, this is a fun toy.

I bought this as a Christmas gift, intending it to be primarily for my two youngest sons, ages 7 & 3. Imagine my surprise when all family members--from 3 to 44 and including a couple of teenagers--love to play with it! I'm impressed with the quality of both the magnets and the plastic. Like some reviews I've read, the wheel is somewhat unreliable, but it works fine when used in certain positions. This toy receives daily use. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Wow! My ten year old nephew and his cousin were experimenting with Frigits immediately upon opening the box. They had a great time rearranging the pieces for different effects. Fun and problem-solving all in one!

LOVE IT! We purchased this item strictly from the reviews that we read on Amazon.com. I'd never seen or heard of it. Thus, we purchased this rather blindly. What a cool gadget! My boys weren't overly excited when they opened it as a gift, as they had no idea what it was. However, once the product box was opened they were thrilled. We spent hours Christmas day building and rebuilding. We took it to a gathering of extended family. Every person present ... youngest to oldest ... had to build their own version. They had contests as to who could cover the fridge from top to bottom. Whoops of delight were heard all day. We are now on day 2, and it was the first thing my boys (7 and 8 yrs) wanted to play with the day after Christmas. I find myself tinkering each time I enter the kitchen. My husband thinks the fun will be short-lived. However, I think it's a toy that should disappear and reappear. Bring it out when guests are coming, on yucky days, etc. I'm sure we'll play with it for years to come.

This is a fabulous toy that allows kids to be creative and inventive in their play. There's nothing about this toy that does all the work for them, which is one of the reason I love it and chose it as a gift! Kids can learn physics principles as they play and not even realize that science is what makes the game fun! Not a great choice for kids under 5 because of the small parts and marbles, but a great gift for those older.

So far, the game has held up really well! I would recommend this product without hesitation. It is a little difficult for younger children to figure out, but they can with a little help (lining up all of the pieces so that the marble falls through all of the tunnels and loops). Very fun and worth the money.

Great toy. My daughter originally saw this at the children's center in Vail last year. She loved it. Bought it for her to enjoy at home in Florida, and she is enjoying it, a year later. Good for physics, construction, and so fun to manipulate and anticipate where the marble is going to go. We love it.

A great idea! A huge hit with my 5 year old son and also his 5 year old and 2 year old sisters. Endless combinations. The drawbacks for us are only that htere are very little additional sets or pieces and that it is limited to a metal service, which also means it is in the kitchen and the marbles tend to end up under the oven. I suggest purchasing a metal sheet for the playroom.

This is a very fun set. There are endless possible ways to set up a marble run with these gadgets. My 7-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter and their friends all love to play with this. My husband and I have enjoyed it as well. I think it's a fun, creative toy with lots of longevity.

I combined 2 Deluxe Frigits sets to make a super-deluxe Frigits marble run on a magnetic wall in my office (I work with kids -- but adults love it too!) It's a great product that everyone loves. The combinations are endless!

I purchased this toy because of the excitement caused in our 8 year old grandson while playing with it in the Children's Museum here in Cookeville, TN during our son's family visit (from Lithuania) last Christmas. I took him and his younger sister to the museum and he immediaterly zeroed in on it to the exclusion of the several other games and toys available. When closing time arrived, he was very reluctant to have to leave, even in the face of a promised ice cream treat! I purchased two sets for next Christmas presents with the expectation that both he and his sister will enjoy many hours of constructive play and learning gravity's secrets!

this is a great concept and a grat toy. I only wish the magnets which attach the plastic bits to the fridge were a bit stronger as the parts tend to slide a bit when moved by little fingers.

I like the sturdiness of each piece as well as the size of magnets on them. No problems keeping pieces on the refrigerater. The small bucket type piece will make it difficult for several marbles to go at once, however that piece works quite well.

We bought this for our son (age 9) and he could not wait to get this out of the box! We homeschool our son and he is into "contraptions" and how everything works. He has an engineer mind set. My boys love love love these! Lots of fun, only thing is we bought a magnet board, the fridge was getting scratched (black) and the marbles fall on the floor b/c the little bucket doesn't stay put well. But it isn't an issue now that they play it over the carpet and not on the hardwoods. :) They love to show me their new Frigits arrangements. Recommended!

Great learning toy for my 3 1/2 year old son and for my 2 1/2 year old daughter (with a little help for the latter). Only thing I didn't reallize was that the magnets do not stick to my refrigerator (which has a slightly curved surface), but luckily does stick to my dishwasher. Would purchase this toy again and as a gift.

This toy is excellent!!! Our children are ages 5, 9, and 11, and all 3 love it. It is a kid magnet, whenever we have friends over they are drawn to it. It has unlimited options, and all the ages can make it as challenging or as simple as their abilities allow. One suggestion: we keep a bath towel handy to spread out underneath the fridge; as they test their designs and the marbles miss their target, it slows them down a bit and keeps them from rolling under the fridge! Love this toy and may add to it.

We are a children's Art Museum that is using the Frigit Deluxe toy in our studio. Children ages 3-9 years old are using this toy everyday. We think it is a terrific toy for exploring engineering and gravity. Young children enjoy the experimentation of creating paths for the marbles and watching to see if they are successful finding the end pocket. After one year of use some of the less hardy pieces have broken, but the main gutter pieces have remained intact. And other products with magnets that we have tried have not lasted as long.

We absolutely love this toy. My son realy enjoys making his contraptions and testing them out until they work. I feel like he is learning so much about physics and trial and error all while having a blast. This is definitely going to be one of those toys I'll buy for other kids his age for their birthdays because I feel like it is such a great learniing toy. The only downside was that we also bought the additional launcher and one of the little plastic nibs that run along the innerside of the tube that you twist into place broke about 5 minutes after we got it.

Since my son was 2 years old he's loved playing with marbles. He's 5 now, so we have three years of experience. Frigits are a great idea as now one can build vertically. As well as keep kids happy who like to be near their parents when meal prep is under way. Good concept, good execution. Lots of fun!

My daughers (ages 3, 6, 9, and 12) all love this toy. They spend hours at a time rearranging the pieces. My second daughter said it is better than an iPod! My oldest daughter said it is educational because it helps you to solve problems. It is a great team or solo toy. I even play with it! The pieces are solid and withstand dropping. It's quite easy to sneak in a physics lesson during play. The girls think it is one of the best toys they own.

I bought Frigits Deluxe for my three-year-old grandson who is extremely mechanical and spatial. He loves it -- and will play with it for an hour at a time -- pretty amazing focus for an intense toddler. Sometimes he wants help and sometimes he doesn't. I love it too -- and so do all the other members of the family. This is a great toy for kids of all ages -- and judging by my family, that's at least ages 3 to 61!

This is by far one of the coolest toys ever! My grandfather, parents, 6 year old nephew, 4 year old niece and I can't stop playing with our new Frigits. Guests walk into my house, and their first response is "What is that?" and "COOL!" I can't get into my fridge because everyone is playing around it. This is an excellent tool for teaching cause and effect, problem solving and team work. This will be my Christmas present for everyone.

This toy keeps our 4 year old busy on and off all day! He is constantly rearranging it to make an even better set up. This is a great thinking/problem solving toy! He can't wait to wake up and create a new set up, move on to something else and come back to it to roll a few marbles through it are start a new. I highly recommend this. I's super fun and brainy!

Great toy for my 8 year old son. He played with one at a science center and loved it. So I bought one for him. We are painting part of his bedroom wall with magnetic paint so that he can play with it there instead of on my new refrigerator! The Fridgits has been fun not only for our 5 year old son, for whom I bought it, but also for my husband and me. My son has fun moving the pieces and seeing the marbles fall to the floor rather than follow a path to the end. Then he sits and plays with the layout to get the marble on a usable path. And the magnets rotate on their bases, so there's even more variety to making the parts sit just right. The deluxe version has enough pieces to make a good run down the whole fridge. I am thinking about buying the set with curves to give our son more to tinker with.

My 6 year old son has had lots of great fun with this product. I also bought a set to send to his child care, (of about 35 children), and they love it there too. (The hoop piece was missing from the "launcher" and the Holy Spirit Child Care Centre sent an e-mail and Fat Brain Toys is sending the missing piece. What wonderful customer service!)

This is one of the greatest toys of all time. I got my first set for my 8 year old daughter when she was 4. She spent an hour at a time perfecting the flow of the Frigits to make them work. The great thing about them is that you can create a marble run with just a few pieces or use them all. The current set was bought for my daughter's friend, who requested them for her birthday.

We saw this at a friend's house, and our boys (aged 5 and 2) gravitated to it. It allows them to move pieces around on a magnetic board or refrigerator to create a Rube Goldberg-like device, and follow a ball as it drops through their designs. People of all ages get drawn into this game.

The Frigits deluxe is a wonderful toy for all ages. I bought the first one for my nine year old grandson. The next one I ordered was for my four year old grandson. He loved it even though he needed adults to help twik it alittle to get it to work the way he wanted it. The adults from 30 to 60 enjoyed it as well. I need another one for my 10 year old granddaughter and her 40 year old father. I'm a math teacher not a science teacher but there is much learning taking place with this toy. K. Rice

My 8 year old says, "They are the coolest thing ever!!" My 4 year old says, "They are awesome. I made a loop-de-loop!" My kids love Fridgits. They spend hours at the Children's Museum using the similar toy and were thrilled to have it at home now. Sturdy construction, well-anchored, super-powerful magnets and easy to assemble and line up, yet challenging enough to interest many ages.

A marble run for your refrigerator: great idea, not quite there in practice. My 5 year old loves it. The problem is the magnets just aren't strong enough. To get a marble run to work requires very subtle changes. If the marble falls even a little bit (which you generally do have in a marble run) the impact of the marble to the track it lands on will move it slightly. After a few runs, the slight movement is enough to throw the run off, causing it to fail. So after all the work getting everything "just right", after a few runs, it won't work, which will eventually frustrate the child and they won't play with it anymore. Its a great idea, your just going to need to shore up the magnets with other, stronger magnets to get it to work right.

I purchased this as a gift for a godchild but decided to order another for my boys once I received it. Both of them (ages 2 and 6) find this toy fascinating and play it with it daily. We have a refrigerator that won't hold magnets, so they are using the magnet board from Fractiles (which the 6 year old loves and so do I!). I am shocked they are having so much fun with something meant for a much larger space. Great fun and I highly recommend both for openended and spatial play.

We love our Frigits toy and play with it almost everyday. It is an ingenious invention. Where does the family hang together most? The kitchen. This toy provides playtime for the entire family and Mom can even get some food prepared in the process. Our kids ages 7, 4, and 1, all enjoy playing with it. We are just learning even more how to share and take turns. We've dropped a couple pieces so we know they are sturdy. Honestly, I'm pleased with myself for this find - it's educational, fun, and well worth the money!

I bought Frigits as a present for the whole family. It has certainly lived up to that expectation. My children are endlessly fascinated by the endless possible configurations. Even my husband loves to set it up to see how far he can make the marble jump from one ramp to another. My boys are having fun learning physics concepts without even realizing it. The magnets are strong enough to stay right where they are put so there is no shifting once you place a piece, and the pieces are solid enough to stand up to the handling that my rough and tumble boys give them. I am very very pleased with this purchase!

My grandson first saw this 2 years ago and has been hooked ever since. In fact, every kid who visits stays in the kitchen playing with it and leaves the grown-ups alone in the next room! The only time we can get them away from it is when we have dessert or have to leave. When my grandson got Frigits he literally squealed (quite loud, too) and left everything else on the table to run and set this up on the refrigerator right away! He had to be coaxed back to finish and do the cake and ice cream (which he didn't even eat!) then he was right back at it again. He is nine. The other kids ranged from five to ten and they all had a blast with it. After bedtime I found Daddy and Grandpa playing around with it, and they were having just as much fun as the kids.

Although recommended for ages 7 and up, I purchased Fridgits for my 4 year old twins after that spent almost an hour playing with them at a local children's museum. They love it! Because of their age, they sometimes need a little help getting it just right so the marbles don't fall on the floor, but trial and error is the best part of learning. It's great to see their little minds working over and over again coming up with a new set-ups each time. My son, in particular, loves cause-and-effect toys. This toy is just perfect for him.

Both of my boys (6 & 4.5) absolutely love this product! The only thing I was a little disappointed by was one of the parts was assembled backwards on the magnet, therefore we cannot use it. It was one of the little bucket things. Overall very satisfied.

This is a really fun marble toy. My only complaints are that it's distracting to my students to have it up on the file cabinet in my classroom! Also, on my parent's fridge, the freezer is on the bottom and doors open from the middle, the handles of the fridge really limited the design possibilities and forced us to work up high, where it was more difficult for the youngest designers to work.

After quickly explaining to my nephews, 4 and 5, exactly what this was (they were intrigued by the picture but didn't quite get it completely until I told them they had to build an obstacle course for the marble), they immediately opened the box and began building. We first made the course that is shown on the front of the box so they'd get the idea. After a little tweaking to get the ball to land in the right spot, (they loved chasing the marbles all over the kitchen floor!), we were on a roll. The adults became so interested in it that we were trying to figure out how to go the full height of the fridge, including the use of large mid-air drops. The possibilities are endless with this set and the kids will have to pry the grown ups away!

This toy was a big hit with my 7 year old son. It also attracted the curiosity of his brother and cousins. The boys kept coming back to create new Frigit courses and would all give a collective cheer once they got it to work properly. The only trouble we experienced was the wheel does not seem to spin freely enough. My favorite comment came from our 5 year old nephew who asked if "Frigit" was a bad word! Overall, I recommend this creative toy.

Frigits has been a big hit. Our 7 year old is just the right age to understand the mechanics of how to place the various pieces and does not get frustrated if his designs do not work out. Indeed, a bit of tinkering is what makes the game fun. It is a toy that he comes back to over time, one that he can play alone or with friends and/or parents. The Deluxe Edition has more interesting pieces, so spring for that version. One caveat: if you have little tykes in the house, be very vigilant about stray marbles.

Similar to the magnetic marble runs at the Children's Museums we frequent, but at home. We had a lot of fun using M&M's for the marbles. A good quality toy that should last years and several stages of youth. I can imagine pulling this out for use in a Science Fair Physics project.

This is the best toy! My girls, ages 5 and 6, absolutely love it. They've spent much more time with this toy than anything else. They've been planning, talking about the best approach for set-up, experimenting, and testing. All of this makes it extremely educational. I plan to get more Frigits for gifts. My husband loves it as well. He just said to me "this may be the best toy ever."
