The quality of presentation/game is solid and graphically entertaining, as is the content.

These cards are great to leave around the house, enabling one to pick 'em up anytime and give the ol' noggin a quick workout. Cards range from simple enough for the youngest kids to difficult enough to spur the imagination and problem-solving skills of adults.

Review for Visual Brainstorms

We purchased this game for our 9 year old grandson's birthday. His first reaction when he opened the gift was to set it aside as he was hoping for a more active toy or a video game. Later, when we played the game, he found he could figure out many of the puzzles himself or with the help of his partner. The mind games encouraged us all to use our brains. Most telling was his comment that this is really a fun toy.

The scenarios on each card are both fun & challenging. I like the fact the cards progress in level of difficulty. They encourage "thinking outside of the box" & really engage reasoning skills. They also add a laugh of two along the way.

Pretty cool. My friends think the game is a hoot. Me and the Mrs. catch ourselves lurking through the box to figure out as many as we can.

Product Meets Description

This product meets its description. Each card presents a written mental challenge related to the picture on the card. The laminated cards are large and easy to see and hold with answers on the back along with additional challenge questions. I am finding the game fun and challenging. I didn't give Visual Brainstorms my highest rating because I feel the artwork on the cards could be better. Also, it would be nice if the product had some type of holder for the cards that is easier to get into than the provided packaging. I ended up putting a rubber band around the cards and placing them in my game basket on my coffee table so I could quickly pull out a card when I desire.

Although the cards we recently ordered were for teacher gifts, my kids, now ages 11 and 10, have loved these cards for two years now. The puzzles and problems on the cards often require abstract thinking, a skill children love to exercise (which is so beneficial). They are well-written, the drawings are simple and clear, and having three skill levels lets various family members or students participate. My one suggestion would be to eliminate the duplication. Certain types of problem-solving are seen over and over.
