All Right Greenhouse

This product was like box. So don't listen to the others. The only reason I gave it a four is because of the size/depth of the product. The cover for the greenhouse is plastic but it works fine if you put a little piece of tape on it. If you are looking for a starting cheap greenhouse this is the product for you!

My rating of Hydro Greenhouse 2

The product was as advertised, but it was helpful to read the reviews in order to be prepared for the flimsy plastic housing.

A Good Idea Marred by Cheap Materials
Posted 10/10/2006 by Jason Jordan

I picked this item up for my office because I'm interested in hydroponics and thought it might be a nice change of pace from of all the other plants that others have in their offices. I still like the idea (I have yet to plant seeds), but this product is made from very flimsy plastic. The top and sides are not one unit, but instead a thin (think overhead transparency) roll of material upon which you place the top. Fortunately, I won't be moving it much once the seeds are planted. I realize this wasn't meant to last for decades or withstand the elements, but I've not seen this cheap of construction in a children's toy. A toy soldier is a relative marvel of structural engineering next to the greenhouse. Physical characteristics aside, the package does include everything as advertised: greenhouse base, top, and sides, potting material, small tools, and an 8 page booklet. I wouldn't recommend this product to children under 8.
