Just what I expected, the TRex form of operation. I love how it roars at you when you hit the metal. Lots of fun.

Review for T-Rexcavator
Posted 1/9/2012

Rating:

We just received the T-Rexcavator and my son loved helping mommy put the bones in place. The drawback so far is that the tool to retrieve them is very hard to pinch. It's even difficult for me to squeeze and there's barely any room between the bone and the side of the game.

Was a gift for a 5 year old. After trying it, he said I won't play with this much- too hard. His mother may use it for your 6 year old school class.

Some of the bones are difficult to pick up with the tweezers, even for a grown up. I liked the roar rather than the traditional buzzing noise.

My grandson hasn't opened this gift yet, but knowing him, he will love it. It's something he can play with his mum, dad and sister. I've seen him look at similar games and the idea behind this game is great, but the fact that it is dinosaurs makes it a real winner!

My nephew loves this game, it is the best idea since the operation game.

My 4 year old son is very interested in dinosaurs and fossils, so we got him the T-Rexcavator. He really enjoys "excavating" the bones. He is also learning about different types of bones, which is a cool bonus. The only problem is the roar when you touch the sides of the game. My son thought that was a bit to scary, but we just took the batteries out and it is fine. I would recommend this for any dinosaur fan.

For a school dino dig
Posted 3/3/2011

Rating:

This will be used for a kindergarten class dino dig. It’s one of our centers. The entire program focuses on being a paleontologist. This is perfect for the “steady hands (center)” that a paleontologist must have to be a successful fossil hunter.
The program won't start until the beginning of April 2012.
