Nice game, but needs a little quality improvement

We received the Circa Baseball set in a timely manner, and when my son put it together for his birthday, he was very happy. Unfortunately, when he got ready to play, we discovered that the spring for the "pitcher" wasn't screwed into its post, so it took about 15 minutes for us to figure out how to line up the screw with the hole and screw it in. We have had to retighten this screw three times within the first two days. Then after using the toy for only one evening and one day, we discovered that the bat had become quite wobbly. I don't believe this can be fixed. It still works, though, and overall is quite fun. I guess we'll try to send it back to get it fixed if it becomes unworkable. Overall, a great product, just wish it had a little better quality control before shipping.

Toy is fun, a little difficult to play, but I guess that makes it a challenge. Nicely crafted toy, which is really the reason my son wanted it.

Not exactly what I expected

This product felt rough and the craftsmanship was not so great. My husband sanded off the side of the shooting alley. (I don't know what this is called, but the long alley-shaped area through which you first shoot the ball is too thin for the ball. The balls got stuck in the alley before turning the corner into the game.) This made it feel cheap and put together rather shoddily. Perhaps it will last long, but that remains to be seen.

My children have had fun playing the game because they love baseball; however, it is quite difficult to get a "hit" because of the set up of the board. Also, within minutes the screw that holds the spring in place to pitch the ball backed out enough so it would not work properly. Poor design.

Over 40 years ago my brother and I had a similar game made of plastic. Wood is better. Looks better, smells better, sounds better.
It's in my office. Visitors can't resist taking a swing. It may be a mass produced product, but I think it is a work of art.

The product was a little smaller than I had expected, but it was very fun. It is great quality for the price and also adds to the nostalgia of America's favorite pastime!

So far we all like it! Seems like it will be a toy that will hold their interest for a long time. I like the fact that it is wooden and not plastic as that will make it last longer, too.

This is a great toy. It's great to look at, fun to play, and also provides a great whiff of vintage baseball nostalgia. How can you beat that?

We have gotten rave reviews from the new owner of this game! My friend said that her 7 year old son plays with it constantly and absolutely loves it! I plan on buying one for my 7 year old son for the holidays.

It's a fun and a nice looking toy. My six year old loves it. Also, it is good to have a good old traditional game instead of the flashy electronics that stores sell now days.

This was a gift. Not only did the child love the game, he and my child thought of new ways to play with it by using multiball baseball. This is the perfect gift for any child who likes baseball but whose parents want to have a non-electric game.

I bought this for my 7 year old nephew who just started playing T-ball. Not only did he love it, but my brother (his father) also was tough to pry from it. I wish they included a few more marble balls though because one had already been lost by the time I left. Otherwise, it's an entertaining product that doesn't make those annoying toy sounds!
