Expected Better Quality

In my son's class, part of circle time is doing the calendar and weather, including dressing the felt board bear appropriately for the day. That's what I was going for. This set was a disappointment, mostly because the pieces don't stick well. It definitely has to be done on a flat surface because the pieces would fall off otherwise. There also aren't many pieces so options for dressing are limited. He has fun with it now, but I doubt it will last long interest-wise as well as quality-wise. I wouldn't recommend it. Too bad. It's a great concept.

I bought this for my 4 1/2 year old daughter who love stickers and an on line dress up game. She loves this toy - it encourages her to talk about the weather and make up stories. Sometimes she's silly & puts a snow hat on for swimming but mostly she likes to match the proper clothes to the weather. The bear and cat make her stories more interesting as they get accessories as well. She has even been more interested in picking out her own clothes since playing with it. It is true Colorforms fun that I rember as a kid!

Great for little girls

This is a cute set, but my three-year-old niece didn't quite get that each outfit was used for different types of weather. She always wanted to put the white shorts on the doll. She enjoyed looking at all the pieces and trying them out on the board.

I bought this for both my daughter and one of her friends. Colorforms are such a classic toy - I remember playing with them myself. Both girls love dressing Miss Weather up for a variety of seasons.

My precocious 2 year old granddaughter loves to play with stickers. Problem is she also likes to peel them off so they lose their stick. I thought Colorforms would allow her to peel and stick to her heart's delight. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the quality of this product. I remember playing with Colorforms as a kid, and this newer version does not measure up. The stickers don't stick, they just lay on the board and curl up around the edges. Also, they are not colored through, the colors are painted on white vinyl. My granddaughter creased them, and the paint flaked off.

The instructions to this Colorforms kit suggest gently washing pieces to help with adhesion. Due to uncharacteristic flaking, we refunded our customer for the item.

I was somewhat disappointed with this item. There aren't as many dress up pieces as I thought. My 4 yr old gets bored with it quickly. There are better values.

Both my girls (ages 5 and 2) are enjoying this toy. It is engaging and educational. The only concern I have is the longevity of the pieces. After about 10 uses, they are not sticking as well. The instruction suggest washing them... I haven't tried that yet.

I purchased a colorforms "Little Miss Weather" dress up set for my 15 month old Grand-daughter. I thought she was ready for it as she is showing very good small motor coordination. She is in fact to young for it so in the mean time she watches me play with it. She is a very observant toddler and I anticipate we will be enjoying it together by this summer.
It is so much fun to introduce her to toys that I LOVED as a child and were a big part of my development. As a young child I actually learned what to wear as a result of this colorforms toy. My mom put it out for me every morning to teach me to make decisions about my clothing for the day. Thanks Fat Brain for stocking this toy!

None of the clothes stuck on the little girl. Thank God I checked before I gave it to my granddaughter. Not very happy with the product.

Colorforms do not completely adhere like stickers, they lightly "cling" to the play surface so children can use them again and again. We credited our customer for this product. I love this toy. It is particularly good for developing small motor skills. Children feel they can dress Miss Weather all by themselves, even if they can't dress themselves so well. My grandaughters loved it! They are 2 and 4.

I bought this for my granddaughter because I remembered how much I liked mine as a child. It is for a Christmas gift, so she has not played with it yet, but I have! It is as much fun as I remembered. Colorforms are way more fun than stickers because they are infinitely reusable. This may be the Christmas gift that I enjoy giving the most!

I bought these sets for 3 little girls. All Moms have checked in with enthusiastic reviews. So, just as fun as I remember myself. If I could offer any suggestions, it would be for Colorforms to make available additional clothing sets to buy for more options it comes with only 1 card of choices.

Allows my daughters to play together. Helps them understand what to wear for the weather. A big Mommy help too, because they know what will be needed in the mornings!

My daughter is almost four years old and she absolutely loves playing with her Miss Weather. I also use it in my in-home daycare to teach the kids about the weather and what they should be wearing in the different types of weather and seasons.

This is by far one of the best dress up games for little hands my daughter has... The first time she played with it for 45 minutes. For a 2 year old that is a long time!
