Worst-Case Scenario Survival Game

We played this game with Mom, Dad, Grandparents and 6 and 8 year old kids. It was fun to play in teams. Everyone liked the game except the 6 year old who didn't understand some of the situations. She sort of lost interest. There were also some questions which were inappropriate for kids that young. There were plenty of cards to choose from that were understood, appropriate and fun to contemplate, however. We had fun playing this game! It is unusual and educational.

Overall this game is fun and informative. Playing it is a good learning experience. The questions are interesting and challenging. There are a few negatives about this game, though. The questions and answers are on the same side of the card which makes it easy to glance over and see the answer to the next question. It seems they tried to save some money by printing each side of the card with different questions. I think each card should be devoted to only one question and answer. Also, the game lacks in ingenuity. You basically just travel forward until you get to the finish. The overall concept of this game is good, but it needs more creativity and a better layout.

We enjoyed this game. It moves fast. We are learning all sorts of interesting information that hopefully we will never have to use! A lot of fun. Our whole family enjoyed it (children ages 15, 14, and 11). Some scenarios are a little over the younger kids' heads. We would probably be interested in owning the junior version.

Fun game. Keeps the family (9 year old boy, 12 year old girl, and Mom and Dad) interested and laughing.
