More advanced than the X and Y balls, this brings in a new dimension of polarity and systematic thought.

Love the Star Ball. Not only is it fun to put together and explore different shapes, but it combines well with my other magnet toys. I like to think of myself as a play artist who uses toys to form sculptures. This is another tool to add to my tool box.

I am a Montessori teacher and have bought many fat brain toys for my classroom. The star ball was a great addition, I also have the Bucky ball and the kids combine these two to make some very creative designs that only children can come up with. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is a very interesting and innovative toys using magnets. Normally the magnet toys are very simple and dull. This toy has a geometrically symmetric shape. Thus, making the stacking magnets a very interesting task. The combination is unlimited in conjunction with other ball sets.

MUCH harder than either the "x" or "y" balls in that the pieces each have an odd number of connections. This causes the "+" and "-" to be uneven on each piece but even on the entire set of pieces. The builder must pay attention. This puzzle doesn't build itself the way the "x" and "y" balls do. It is more of a challenge.
