Mother Pengy is very fast! She functions best when the baby is attached to her back. I thought the baby would have it's own power, but is attached to Mom with magnet and has no power of its own. That's okay though. My grandson is enjoying it.

Super fun bath toy

My kids just love Subbies, I bought them the fish and squid for Christmas and they were such a hit I purchased two Pengy's not long after the new year. Pengy is super fast and suitable for boy or girl.
These toys must be good as the Squid only lasted 2 days but i still came back for more.

I have purchased similar products (different brand) but none have come close to subbies - pengy mother & baby. this toy flies around the pool really fast and every once in a while jumps out and then back in again. friends have come over for pool parties and are amazed (i have a few checking out this website and purchasing). it's just great, we love it.

Excellent toy for bath or pool. My Son (3yrs old) was facinated and excited with how the Subbies moved in the water. We've had hours of fun in the pool and tub with Pengy Mother and Baby as well as the other Subbies (Squiddy, Hurtle the Turtle and Flippy Dolphin).
We are very happy with this product!

MY kids loved this toy! We collect penguins as it is the mascot for our pool's swimteam. So I bought it just because of that! However, the kids played with it in the bathtub and had lots of fun! I'd recommend it!

I bought Pengy to encourage my 4 yo granddaughter to go under the water to retrieve it, and it does that brilliantly. We all laughed as it launched and zoomed away from us. The really brilliant stroke, though, is the magnetic baby penguin. This adds so much play value and fun.
I haven't had it long enough to know how long it will last, so I gave it four stars instead of five. It's easy to put in the batteries, and the watertight screw-on assembly works well and easily.

I bought this toy for my three year old nephew, who absolutely love this toy. It is so much fun to use in the pool all the kids watched it go around in the pool. I might actually order more for my other nieces and nephews.
The only think I would ask is if the paint were better since we used it in our pool the paint started coming off.
But over all I loved it and so did my family. I gave the website to alot of people who also wanted these for their kids.

The toy is fine for my 7 year old granddaughter. My 3 year old granddaughter could not fit the halves together to make it work. We put this toy in a large plastic bowl so they could see how it works and it spattered water on the table. This is best used in the tub.

My son really likes playing with these and related toys. They are fast. The propellors are soft. He has several of them, so the tub is a lively place.

Great tub toy. Works great swimming around the tub. I did have to caution my 5 yr old to protect his privates and not let the penguin swim between his legs. He had no problem operating the toy and it has made bath time lots of fun. This toy would be amazing in a pool. I only wish we had one to put it in.

My kids love this - they think it is adorable that the baby sticks to the mama. It was super easy to drop in batteries and go. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it does get scuffed up if your kids use it a lot in shallow pool.

Johnny laughs like crazy as this subbie zooms around the tub.Can't wait till the pool opens.
