Aqua Radio Performance

The Aqua Radio is an FM only tuner with two speakers including one that can be placed in the water presumably making your entire pool into a music paradise. Don't believe it. The receiver is very limited and cannot pull in a station that isn't in your city. The underwater speaker did make some sound, but you have to be right next to it to hear it. The radio has some sound effects but they are only short bursts. Someone else has to push the buttons while you are under the water to hear the sound. It may perform better in an area where a FM station is close by.

Wild Planet Aqua Radio

I bought this radio for my wife who wanted a radio she could use while floating around in our pool. She absolutely loves it! It has good reception and the sound is good enough to hear wherever the radio is in the pool without it being next to you. The sound effects are cool too! The underwater speaker actually works (not a gimmick). This is a great pool radio, especially if you don't want all your neighbors to hear your boom box! This product makes a great gift.
