Fast and Fun

When you only have a little time to spare, this is a good choice for family fun. My 7 year old had no trouble picking up the simple rules and had fun expanding his water works. The set appears to be of quality construction and should last for years.

Wow for the Waterworks

This game is dynamite for the kids and adults alike. We never get tired of it. The rules are easy to understand for everyone along with game play. You can dive right in to the game. It encourages everyone to participate and we found it especially good for the children with concentration.

This is a game I've played many times before at my in-laws. I finally bouight it for myself. Since I've enjoyed it from the first time I played it, I want to mention how my students enjoyed it. I teach an AP class and on the last few days of school, when they have nothing to do, we bring in board games. This was their favorite game this year! And its my favorite game anytime! :)

Still A Good Card Game

My wife and I have been re-collecting older games that we both played as kids. Waterworks is our latest. It is still as fun and challenging as it was before. Various strategies and interactive play between people make every game different and challenging. We intend to introduce our grandson to the game when he is older.

a favorite from when I was a kid

My family and I were so excited to discover the reissue of Waterworks! This was one of our favorite games when I was growing up and was enjoyed by the kids and adults alike. This version keeps the fun "tub" for the card decks and has the little wrenches included for "fixing" your leaks. Some other versions don't. In the last few months, I've ordered four sets of Waterworks: for my sister, my mom, for a gift and for myself. We're all really enjoying the game and now my nephews are hooked. :)

My family played with Waterworks when my children were young. They played with it with their friends when they were teenagers. The two new games were for grandchildren. They loved it and we all had as much fun with it as we did years ago. I still have my original game plus I was lucky enough to pick up an extra game years ago. I have been looking for more so I was glad when they brought it out again this year.

We played this game, Water Works, with our children when they were young, 40 years ago. I have looked often for it as we had so much fun and fond memories of it. We have not had a chance to play it but will in the next couple of weeks when we are with our GrandChildren and know that they will enjoy it as much as their parents and we did. Will be leaving one set with them but keeping one set for ourselves.

We had lost some cards from our old set and wanted to get the full game to play. This game plays the same as original. Good product.

Classic Waterworks

We found it to be a good little game. It reminded me (at least a little bit) of Milles Bournes in the manner of choices with each turn... Should I help my own cause, or play a card on an opponent to try and slow them down? If one player gets a bit of a lead, opponents must keep an eye out, or victory could be swift. Our very first game went down to the wire, with any one of us possibly winning within a turn or two. The plastic tub card tray is cute. It holds the cards and the metal wrenches. Recommended.

My sister and I played this game for hours when we were growing up. I bought it for her and her family for Christmas and she freaked out when she saw it. We have such fond memories of playing this game that it's fun to now share it with our kids.

My grandsons ages 5 & 8 had a wonderful time with this game. They liked the 'real pipe wrenches' that fix the leaks. My own children enjoyed this game when they were small, and I liked the fact that it was still around to give as a gift that the whole family can play. (No batteries required either.)

My grown son (31) loved playing this game with his sisters and friends. They had played it so much it had gotten worn out and we hadn't been able to find it to replace it. You place water pipe cards together between a faucet and a turn on valve. While your trying to connect your line your opponents are trying to connect theirs and destroy yours with leaking pipe cards. You have to repair them before you can win. We think this is a very enjoyable game!
