We got two, one for our 8 year old and one for our almost-4 year old who just wants whatever his brother has. Older kid definitely gets more use out of it. The magnifier is very good quality, overall product seems durable. Bright LEDs. Includes UV lights, which I don't care for because of kids' tendency to shine them at each others' faces. So we have to remind them not to do that.

My two 8 and 9 year old grandsons LOVED them. They were inspecting everything. I told them about the survey and they wanted me to tell you they are AWESOME. They are very small so you have to keep close track of them but they were very pleased but it would be beneficial if they were a little larger with perhaps some type of strap to assist the younger kids in maintaining control of the item. It can be easily overlooked inside of a pocket.
