Our son was wanting a microscope very much and ripped the wrapping paper off this present so fast, we were shocked. We carefully set it up and he switched it on and his face fell. The lamp didn't work. Dead. Done. Dark. Brand new fancy scope. Big present. So for now, this present wasn't worth the price we paid for it. I will be returning it as soon as I figure out a way to safely get it back. Big close up of my son's disappointment.

My 7-year-old grandson absolutely loves the microscope and the slides. He says it's the best microscope he's ever had; even though it's his first one! It is easy to use and seems to be very durable. I am a retired science teacher, and I found this to be a very well made scope and a good price.

this is a Christmas gift for our grandson, age 5, but we opened it and checked it out right away and we are thrilled with the quality of this microscope!! Can't wait for all the hours our grandson will spend enjoying this gift :)

Amazed at the quality of this microscope for the price. My 4 year old daughter is always looking for objects to view. She figured out how to use the focus within 30 minutes of receiving this microscope. Now she wants be to purchase more prepared slides.
