Not just an ordinary rocket toy! This toy is brilliant. First, its impressive rainbow effects light up the sky. Then the shining rocket turns up the landing volume with a bang!
Take a piece of newspaper (whatever shape, just tear out a piece), put it flat across the tube of the rocket. Put the simple plastic cap on top of it (which would be the cone, or the nose of the rocket). Swing your rocket up high using the attached strap. The Big Bang rocket whizzes through the air, gravity makes it turn over nose down, and then it will start falling. The strap stabilizes it to stay nose downward. When it hits the ground - it sounds a loud POP! Remove the remnants of the newspaper, put a new piece in, and you are ready to fire another round.
Completely safe, totally easy, and tirelessly entertaining. Kids of all ages can’t get enough of the Light Up Big Bang Rocket! The color display and the big BANG are fun, fun, fun! More good news, your new Big Bang Rocket Light Up Edition remains lit for a full minute, so it’s a cinch to find in the dark.
Use it again and again and again. This durable rocket toy works on any surface, hard pavement, grass, or sand. Day or night it looks great. (You won't believe the multicolor display at night.)
For backyards, parties, or wherever there is a gathering of any kind, the Big Bang Light-Up Rocket is long-lasting, low-maintenance play that all ages love.

As one of the top online toy retailers, we have access to unprecendented quantities of product review data. One of the key ways that we use this data is by associating our products to the specific ages and genders of the kids who are playing with them. Whereas most retailers must rely upon manufacturer suggested ages (i.e. 3+), we take actual customer usage and share it with you here so that you can choose the perfect toy or game.
But how does this help me? You can use these graphs as a general measure of it's appropriateness for a given age and gender. While this information is generally accurate, it should not be used as an absolute answer. For instance, many dinosaur toys are purchased for boys, however, that doesn't mean that it's inappropriate for a girl who happens to like dinosaurs.
NOTE: The orange color in the charts above indicate ages that are LESS than the manufacturer suggested age. Please purchase at your discretion if your child is younger than 6 years of age.
Launching a rocket by throwing it does not sound like a rocket at all. I thought this product- like other rockets- would be launched by air pressure. It's been raining since I got it, so I haven't had the chance to fully try it. But the gift recipient liked the looks of it and the promising joy that comes with throwing stuff around!

Easy to use. Perfect for 5 year old. Loves throwing it at night with the lights flashing. It works everytime. Even the big kids (Dad and Grandpa) love it! Great because no matter what age or throwing ability it still works.

my son loves this toy. after playing with many rockets he was a bit apprehensive but low and behold, it works! there are so many products in the market that simply do not work. it is simply comforting to know that i have given him a toy that not only works but is an absolute blast! the only problem is that neighbor children want a turn to often for my child's liking! it really is fun. his 11 year old sister and 14 year old brother love to play it with him which is great news to my husband and me.
