The Lumin Disk uses super bright technology combined with miniature electronics on a flat panel disk with an amazing display of light which will respond to your touch or dance to your music. The Lumin Disk looks great on any table or desktop or hangs easily on a wall with its built-in keyhole hanger. Great for parties and get-togethers or quiet personal enjoyment. The Lumin Disk can either be used by battery or AC adapter which is included. Requires 4 AA batteries that are not included.

I purchased this product for my 6-year-old son with autism. He is nonverbal and doesn't really play with toys... but loves things with lights. I had hoped that, giving him this, he would become excited and want to play it. I was initially disappointed when I took this out of the box and saw there was a power cord to plug into the device and into the wall. Then I saw that there was a chamber you could add batteries to, thus forgoing the power adaptor. So I was happy about that. I added batteries, set the device up to respond to sound, and my little guy carries it everywhere. He is nonverbal but whenever he makes a sound.... the device lights up and gives him a little show. It makes him smile. I hope that soon, it helps him realize the connection to sounds/words and he will start talking more.

Wrong color still happy for the most part

Disk is nice, but we received the wrong color.
