Well I have not had the time to call for a replacement, but for now I will let you know how things went. My son picked out the 1:16 Fire Racer RC - 2.4 GHz Servo Tronic. First off, it boast's that it is "Ready to Run" when you receive it. Well it's not ready to run if you use the dead AA batteries that came with the remote. Second the car states that it is "light yet robust construction" and "sturdy". Well within the third day of owning it, the plastic wheel axle snapped clear off. What a let down for him. The product was on back order so he was really good about being patient for it to arrive. He really enjoyed it the few times he had opportunity to play with it. Then the fun was spoiled.
