My grandson loves this book. His family lives on a pond so the images and the design really hit the spot with him! He's 2 and loved the pictures but his older brother who is almost 4 liked the way the book describes the dfferent levels of life in a pond. I have a Water Resource Management degree so I talk to the boys about thier pond all the time. This book helped illustrate many of the things we talk about.
