I bought this for my 4 year old for a road trip. He is learning how to write, and I thought it would be perfect for him for this purpose. He does enjoy writing on it, but the dry-erase crayons that come with it do not wipe off very easily. Because of this, he became frustrated and he quickly tired of playing with it. I found that anytime anything needed to be erases he brought it to me, and then didn't want to play with it again. Overall I think it is a good concept, but perhaps it will work better for us with the dry erase markers instead.

Before you write-off the Crayola dry erase board contact us! This is highly uncharacteristic of this product. With slight pressure, the crayons erase neatly. A damp cloth also does the trick brilliantly! We sent our customer a gift certificate.
