The basics of Amber fossil formation: When ancient trees were injured, a sticky sap-like substance flowed out from the tree and plugged the holes in the bark. Sometimes, bugs, plants, and small animals were stuck in the sticky substance and became entombed.

My son was so underwhelmed. The pieces of amber were so small with no insects in it.

The amber requires sanding to become translucent for the insects to be seen. If a product isn't clearly wonderful, don't let it bug you. Visit the Returns & Exchanges Center for quick assistance. We assisted our customer promptly.
